AMAZING LISTEN

I am not going to lie. I am so happy I waited for this audio! It was so amazing to listen to it. I have been in love with Abbi's writing since I started reading her books. And I am hooked into a world that I don't want to leave.

Wilder has some moments of being an idiot. But that is when he is younger, and now the man that stands before Oakley is different. Wilder is a man who is intelligent but jaded from the only heartbreak he has known.
Oakley finds herself in front of the only man she has loved. And they still have this chemistry that is so hot and burns bright.

This audio was so good. I couldn't get over how well it was done and how the narrators were perfect choices for these characters.
Desireé Ketchum is amazing with any story she narrates. There is just something about her voice that can draw you in. You will listen to every word and want more.
Christian Fox is such a delight to have in my ears. His voice has a smoothness to it that just keeps you hanging on.

I can't wait for more stories from Abbi to be brought to life in audio!

Loved Christian Fox

A good audiobook. Christian Fox is the best narrator , need more audiobooks by him. The story is interesting.

surprising

I kind of thought she was done with this series but was pleasantly surprised when this book popped up I wasn't expecting this character to get his own book but I'm glad he did. this one even though he's related to the whole Mafia gang he was more separated than the others so I guess cuz he was a computer geek part of the Gang so it felt a lot different this one definitely felt like a total Standalone even though the other guys did show up in it it was that was just a pleasant surprise it was a good story it it flowed well I enjoyed the audio I thought the narrators did an excellent job bringing this story to life it was definitely what you might call a page Turner if you were reading it because it kept you totally involved wanting to know in fact I finished this pretty much straight through.

Pitiful & Weak Female Main Character

Enjoyed the story & loved Christian Fox’s voice. Worth the read/ listen.
Wilder & Oakley’s love story is definitely a heartbreaking one for her.
Wilder doesn’t deserve any redemption because he never accepted his fault or actions and was selfish, arrogant, believed the worst of Oakley.
Not true love or faith in the FMC.
He was a part of the Southern Mafia, slept with Oakley’s stepsister out of revenge, was stupid, and it was not substantiated, married her and got her pregnant. Low blow to Oakley.
Oakley endured hurtful family behavior, had to accept their marriage.
My problem is she was weak, no backbone and caved to his needs.

Very Good

Really enjoyed this book of childhood lovers turned sort of enemies turned reluctant allies turned lovers again. ❤️. This one takes you on a ride!

You'll revisit some old characters from the series but this is a total standalone. And I appreciate that the previous storylines and characters are not rehashed and beat to death like many other authors will do. ❤️ Thank you, Abbi Glines!

An, of course with Desiree Ketchum narrating our FMC and the Fantastic Christian Fox🦊 voicing our MMC, you're in for eargasm pleasure. 🔥🔥🔥 Between this book and Abbi's other one, narrated by Jacob Morgan, I'm left in a puddle. 💦

Not realistic!! FMC is weak minded.

If the man I loved ever did that to me, I would never take him back. Let alone fawn over him, this seems highly unlikely and unrealistic. The narrators were excellent, but the story was weak.
Iblove me some Christian fox. I just wish he had better roles.
