Good

Loved the back and forth narration. Did not know if I would like it since it was my first time listening to a book done this way. Unlike the usual Male narrated chapter then female chapter, or all Male or female narration. Typical Kendall Ryan book. Keeps you interested and story moves along nicely. This one was a bit short and predictable, but good nonetheless.

Sweet and sexy and all around entertaining. I loved this story from start to finish. The characters were fun and at times frustrating, but I fell for them all the same. This was especially true for Barrett. He is charming and sweet and I loved his chemistry with Ava. They were perfect together. I absolutely love Kendall Ryan's work and this has been one of my favorites. I can't wait to read more from her. Jacob and Ava brought the characters to life and I loved their voices. I thought they were the perfect choices for these characters. Definitely how I pictured their voices.

This is a sweet and intriguing story filled with thrilling moments and enjoyable characters you'll fall in love with instantly. I loved how the protagonists was brought to life by the narrators.

Well this little audio book was a delight to listen to!

Barrett Wilson and Ava have known each other for years, the reason for this is because he is best friends with her brother Nick, this is becoming a bit of a problem because Barrett has a crush on Ava.

When he goes to stay with Nick for a few days over the holidays, Barrett didn't think for a minute that Ava would be there, however when he gets there who should open the door?

Barrett knows that he shouldn't even entertain the idea of having a relationship of any kind with his best friends little sister, no , he must follow the Bro Code and leave well alone........accept it doesn't quite work out that way, an unbeknown to him, Ava has also had a childhood crush on Barrett for years.


🎧🎧 The audio book was different for me, and i have come to realise that i'm not a great fan of Duet narration, which is what this was done in.

The difference is:

DUEL narration 1 person reads a POV or chapter, and reads both parts, male and female.

DUET narration is the male narrating his parts, and the female narrating hers, regardless of chapter, it was a little too busy for me.

However it was made up by having the sexy tones of Zachary Webber who could quite frankly read the phone book and make it sound delicious, and lovely narration by Ava Erikson

This was acting, not narrating!!

Okay- so I love audible bcz it gives me a chance to do stuff while listening to books. But I have to say, this was the BEST duet EVER! The actors really showcased their talent and bought this book to life. Overall, the story was cute- but the actors made it awesome!

Sweet, sexy, and AMAZING narration duo!

I loved this story so much! It was adorable yet so freaking sexy. I loved Barrett even though sometimes I wanted to shake him and tell him to just go with the flow and forget all about the Bro Code. Ava was amazing. Her strength and determination to save her father’s company and the care she had for their employees made me like her instantly. Chemistry between the two characters was fantastic. Kendall Ryan needs to just take my all money now because she never fails to give me a great story and even better characters to fall in love with.

Narration by Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan was stellar. Jacob Morgan could read a a list of burrito ingredients and sound sexy, so being cast as the super hot, older brother’s best friend was a perfect fit. Ava Erickson was just as amazing. I love her voice. It’s like a warm hug. Her narration never fails to emit so much emotion, which I love. Also, I love this narration duo, but dear baby Jesus as a duet? WHOA! I almost died, but I wanted to listen again so I lived. Five Stars!

Loved it!!!

I loved the chemistry between the characters.
I adored the dual narration, especially when the female voice was used in the male POV when a woman spoke (and vice versa). I also loved the inflection of the narrators tones, and laughing when there was one. It made the story more believable.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening.

Cute, sexy story of a guy falling for a best friend’s sister

The story is familiar and predictable but enjoyable. It includes a corporate raider subplot and some hot scenes as well as a happy ending, but the best part was the duel narration. It was seamless, more natural, and a pleasure to listen to. Hope the industry will be moving in this direction because once you’ve heard a duet narration you don’t want to go back to the single narrator or the narration where the male and female narrator alternate chapters and have to mimic a voice of the opposite sex. This style is like acting out the parts and the male and female characters have consistent and realistic voices. Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan did a great job.

Sexy, forbidden, yes please.

A sexy forbidden romance. Throw in a twist makes for a good read/listen. Narration is a duet style and was great. Ava Erickson and Jacob Morgan bring this story to life.
