Great Series

Great series. Weird. Hard to listen to at times. A good bit darker than my normal fair and hard to listen to some parts. But still very solid. Not something you'll be explaining at book club.

Brutal and awesome

This is the most intense book of the trilogy. A couple of times it got so dark I had to take a break. But it drew me back quickly. The action is pretty much non-stop and fast paced. A must read and 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Epps!!!

I honestly thought this was the last book in the series till the last 4 min. I really hope I’m not wrong that another one’s coming! I absolutely love this series and every character especially Epps. I actually had tears driving into work twice listening her conversations with Bennett!! Keep em coming

Absolutely Worth It!!

Loved it, wish there was more ❤️ or a continuation to the story. Always love a happy ending

The best ending for a great magical modern military adventure.

I loved this series. I could see myself in this character. The hero is the best example of a reluctant warrior with honor and integrity. He seeks what is right and true. He does not shortcut what has to be done. He “Charlie Mikes” no mater what happens to him. I can’t wait to see what is up next from Jason Anspach and Ryan Williamson

I promised I wouldn’t cry!!

This book nearly had me in tears when chapter 56 came around. Both Captain Brown and Doc went out like Rangers should. Brown with his fist around his targets throat and Doc in a pile of brass with his woman in his arms.

Dark LDS Fantasy

The first book in the series was great. I enjoyed it and my daughter enjoyed it.

The second book, I’m glad I started that by myself. I told my daughter she couldn’t read or listen to that until she was at least 18. But it was still good, just dark and had very mature content.

This third book, well, the Morman boy got his planet. I couldn’t wait until the stupid thing was over. And I’m a huge fan of Jason Anspach, but I’m not sure how much he had on this book. They should nuke it from orbit, just to be sure. (An often repeated line).
