This was really good!!!!

I really enjoyed this one! It brought back some great memories of The Last Star Fighter but better. I hope number two comes out soon!!!

Last Starfighter?

If you loved the Last Starfighter you will love this too. I was worried at 1st that this was just going to be a "remake" of the Last Starfighter but it quickly diverges that story into something even better. The only bad part is waiting for the next book.

Last Starfighter/Star Wars/Starship Troopers

This was a fun, quick listen. I've listened to Chaney's books before and enjoy the way he structures his stories and builds his characters. The beginning of the story was very Last Starfighter. My initial reaction was that this was going to be too cheesy of a story for me. As it changed into more of a "solider in training buddy story" I got sucked in. The capper is the Star Wars flavor/spin in the story. Very well done and enjoyable. Just sucks having to wait for the next book!!!

such an immersive world

A great blend of past and future, this really grabs you and doesn't let go. The world building was perfect, and the characters are ones you want to root for. highly recommend.

I totally enjoyed this book. Started out just like the move Last Star Fighter but then became its own story. cant wait for the next one!

hell of a story

it flowed very well were yo didn't want to stop listening. it reminded me how I loved the last Starfighter as kid. but it stands up by its self and exceeded the last Starfighter. can't wait for book 2
