Great Team

This audiobook was a great team effort and a great nod to a great movie. I look forward to this listening to this series.

Outstanding performance

I loved this nod towards an old classic. reads like Big Trouble in Little China meets Army of Darkness.

Fell a little flat!

Look the author has written a lot of great sci-fi military books. This one just falls flat. Still a good book, but just not as good as his previous books. But it’s still worth the credit and hopefully the next will be e better.

The narrator was good but there were a few times that I could not tell one character from another.

All and all not a bad book. Just not a great book either.

The repetitive story line

To me the story was very shallow. There are so many good titles that get released from the JN Chaney world. I do not know what happened here. That is just my viewpoint.

the writing style is a bit simple for my taste I enjoy a more integrated dialog into the story. the story on its own has good bones and I can see many hours of listening to these books. narrator best on 1.2 speed

Fun inspired adventure from the move

This was fun. I had just watched Big Trouble, Little China movie when this book released. There were a lot of nods to Jack Burton and the movie. The three characters were well developed and the story was absurd like always but that’s why I read these kinds of books. Read it. It’s a blast.

Just another day in the life of a simple hauler.

Exactly as advertised, a very entertaining, easy listen. Story was interesting and fast moving without any long arc components that get spooned out over 15 books. It is open ended so you aren't investing in a dead end road. I certainly hope we get more.
Gun battles, alien artifacts, potions, Kung Fu, Samurai, Ninja, End of the world, cats and dogs sleeping together and a total lack of noodles to eat. Performance was great especially with the various races. Buy the ticket and take the ride.

Fantastic with a caveat

I really enjoyed the story for the NEVER ending Jocularity. The story is combination of Star wars and Big Trouble in Little China. The main character Dalton is Han Solo and Jack Burton in one. My only issue is that Dalton NEVER stops joking around no matter what and it starts to get really old by the end of the book.
