Kept me wanting more!

I absolutely enjoyed this book from start to finish. The story was captivating, and with every chapter I found myself wanting more.

Without giving anything away, the book moves between present-day Brooklyn and 1960s Kentucky as Julia unravels the mystery behind a haunting photograph. The deeper she digs, the more unexpected and compelling, the truth becomes.

Wonderful Story of discovery and family

This was a good story. The weaving together of the characters and the way the author made the story bloom one pedle at a time was enjoyable and left the audience feeling involved. Who could ask for more!?

Generations of mothers and daughters finding their voices

Well written. I consumed this in two days. Sadly, I had to work for 16 of those hours or it would have been one! Good, even narration. More like this please!!!

A compelling story

The story line was unique, kept my interest throughout. Twists, with pleasant characters, well developed. A pleasant read (except for misuse of “Jesus” as an expletive). Layers kept unfolding. If you’re looking for a really good listen, go with this one!!
