Movie in your ears

I don’t normally bother with these reviews but this production was something else, more like a movie in your ears than anything I have heard for 30 years, not since the last of the radio plays. The story was strong, multidimensional and action packed, hard to put down. The performance’s where excellent. It’s going to be hard going back to a voice reading a book, even Jack Reacher read by Jeff Harding falls flat against this multidimensional production. Treat yourself, it’s a movie in your head and ears, give your eyes a rest and enjoy, and, I dare you to try and fall asleep, not going to happen.

Excellent story and presentation

As usual, the research for this story was impeccable! The portrayal of operations and battle for private security forces was believable and moving. The characters were realistic and the story definitely held my attention. I highly recommend!!

Thrill Ride

Wonderful performance !!! Relatable characters, great acting, good dialogue. Story has the perfect amount of human interest and action. You don't have to be familiar with the us military to understand what is happening, but if you are its even better.

So Far So Good!

I'm only 12 chapters into this, but I thought I should write a bit as soon as possible.
Full disclosure: I'm a real Greaney fan.
But I've never had an audible that wasn't a straight narration, or had maybe two separate narrators for voices.
This treatment has a complete cast of actors, sound effects, and other performance treatments that make it similar to a high-tech old time radio show.
I was dubious for the first few minutes when I began listening to this.
But the producers, actors, and the writer Greaney really pulled it off big time!

The story for me, is really interesting, .... has just the right balance of big action, plot setup, and general pace.....

The story has great characters, and the actors do terrific justice to them.

I can't tell you if this "old time radio show" style of audible has been done by other action authors, and I just haven't read any of those,..... or if this is a unique approach. But I wouldn't have thought in a million years if somebody had described it, that you could actually pull it off in the audible medium .

But they definitely have here. If you've read Mark's books before, then you'll really enjoy this. And because I because I listen to a lot of action authors, and really do enjoy it.... This was a really refreshing new way to take in a great story.

Entertainment on steroids!

I really enjoyed this movie playing out in audio format. Many more like this please.
