I'm loving Violet Darger. She's a great, strong female lead who rocks in the world of men. Well-done. So glad she's not a cliche female...

Creepy Good

If you like details, this book is not for the faint of heart! I actually shivered at the details so vividly described. If gore is not your thing go elsewhere.
Mystery, intrigue, a little romance this is worth the read if you can handle it.

the first book was great except the ending, then there was a short story that could have been added to another book, and the last book wasn't even that it was like a teaser.

the performance wasn't bad , kept saying gyro instead of Euro for the Greek sandwich,and seme, instead of sem-i .

the story is great just needs more like the first one.

I have truly enjoyed the Violet Darger series. Can’t wait to explore the Loshack series as well. Good story with good flow and good narration. Was extremely pleased with the sample of the next book in the series. It was actually long enough for me to tell whether I thought I’d like it or not! Can’t wait for more.

Narrator is good. Not his fault that writing and characters are not well done. It feels like it was written by teen for teen

Gory but good plot lines

I like the stories although there’s a lot of gory detail. I didn’t like the short story interrupting the flow of the books and saw no reason for it. My main problem is that I found Violet Darger just too unlikeable, Willful, headstrong, and stunningly naive, she showed me in the first book that she really wasn’t ready to be an agent, and sadly, she appeared a slow learner, especially when dealing with procedural matters like castling for backup. I am not looking for anymore of Violet Darger but will try the Loshak series because the author really can write even if his Violet was unbelievable.

29 hours of non-stop action

Sometimes characters get inside your head, Violet Darger is one of those characters. This box set is maybe the best way to introduce yourself to a very memorable character who is always neck deep in action and more than her fair share of sleuthing. Violet is one of the few characters that I have no problem revisiting time and again, having read the individual books, this was an opportunity to revisit her, and once again Kate Marcin brought the stories and characters to life.

Great Story Line But...

I enjoyed the stories but all of the stories in this boxed set have the same problem. That being the female character being a stubborn know it all repeating the same stupid conclusions in every story and barging forward with her own venue while ignoring the safety of herself and others. It seems like the author is wanting to make the character the super hero and for me it writes her repeatedly doing stupid things over and over which makes the reader not focus on her strengths but instead focusing on her stupid self centered activities.
