WORTH THE WAIT

To say that this is one of the most satisfying series is the understatement of a lifetime. it fits the genre SO WELL, bends expectations, delivers glorious twists, and...hear me out... DOESN'T SOUND LIKE IT WAS WRITTEN BY A PREPUBESCENT CHILD!!!

Well done. This is amongst the highest echelons of this genre, hands down.

Actually Unique, Dangerous, Enticing

if you like video games and animes, then dip into this serious for a breath of fresh air. it's balance of realism, humanity, and game stats is both broken as hell and balanced at the same time.

great story and world, but some weird choices

the story and world are fantastic and I have really bought into these characters, but I have to say... there are some really strange moments and story decisions.... like seriously a god sending tech to their followers totally not in keeping with the setting? and why are the gods so totally inept? I hope the story leads to answers that make sense.

keep it up with the story and the character development, I am looking forward to the future of this series. also, the narrator does a fabulous job.

enjoyed it a lot. was a great addition to the series. excited for the next.

entertaining but...

I'm enjoying this story and the narration very much. it's far more depressing than most books but it's still very enjoyable. without getting into too many spoilers there is a corruption pervading every part of the world and Rob is the only one that can fix it. they have access to multiple teleportation abilities and yet I'm constantly reading about weeks and even months of relaxation. every single second of their day that isn't recuperating should be spent either curing people of corruption across all of the civilizations of Elatra or better yet taking over lokai of power. this would make Rob even stronger, unlock new abilities and make the blight weaker yet every single time that's about to happen the author throws in some nonsensical plot that eats up more of that hours and then even more with them relaxing! why on Earth would they be relaxing when the only thing that can save the world is Rob? how many people are dying every single day from corruption or the blight while Rob does absolutely nothing?. it's the only real issue I have with this book. Rob could easily be a higher level by the end of this book and a huge section of the blight could have been purged. at the very least entire civilizations could have been cured. I'm hoping they're saving it for the next book but it just feels like they're drawing out the ending artificially

This Series is Fantastic

I've gone through all five books in this series and it's been a true joy the entire time. This is the kind of otherworldly isekai that I've been seeking for some time.
