What a fun series of fun and lovable characters! Emily Cherry is believable and charming.

relaxing listen

while it's supposed to be a mystery it's more about Emily cherries Senior Life and what seniors have to deal with. I think the mystery part is more of a sideline. family and relationships are a major part of this book. which I like exploring so I thought it was a good read. if that's not your cup of tea then I'd skip it for a more suspenseful mystery series. but I thought it was very sweet

Elderly and inquisitive enough to solve mysteries

loved that her blogging adventures he.lped the police solve crimes. loved her helping the animal shelter and her new friendships.

Cute mystery

This book is well written about a retiree that is finding her way after becoming a widow and stumbles on a few crimes and helps solve them.

Cute, but overall just ok

Maybe I didn’t do enough research, but to have a British story narrated by someone with a midwest American accent was highly disappointing. These were cute stories that were overall unique from each other. There was some plot repetition where I thought the author could’ve been more imaginative. The main character, Emily, was okay. Most other characters were a great additions to the stories.

Very imaginative and creative stories

This is the first time that I have listened to this author. I really enjoyed this box set of mysteries that was solved by an older woman (like me). It made the enclosed stories a little bit more believable than most mysteries I read.
I can’t wait to read the next book or set of books that are released by this author.

Great fun

I love these series, especially being elderly myself.. Love this author. Wish I had discovered Molly Gertrude, Emily and Lily earlier.
Don’t know who Molly Gertrude and Lily are? You should listen to them.

Simple But Sweet Mysteries

The mysteries were predictable but interesting. Emily Cherry is the grandmother everyone wants, full of life and curiosity - complete with cat! Fun and easy to follow.

good way to pass time.

I listened to these books while cleaning. it was an easy listen. As time passed i realized that each plot was basically the same. some person was rude. they died. by the end, the books weren't keeping my attention anymore. i believe had i listened to them one at a time i would had joy them more.

Misunderstood the title update review

At first I was bored it is a very slow book, but it is about murder solving. A relaxing type of reading. I would still recommend it
