Loved it

Great mystery, strong characters, and a start on a setting that will grow during the series. Ends with just the right balance between finishing one story and promising another

This was a fun and intriguing book. I identified strongly with the "damaged" protagonists and their quest. Yes, it is a "cozy mystery" but that does not do the story justice. It has been a long time since i read a well-written mystery that allowed you to identify the criminals from near the start of the book.....and still hold your interest while the protagonists chase down the proof. Give it a read.

Looking for the Next One

I'm hoping there is a series of the Secret, Book, and Scone Society. I want more. So good, and relevant to life for many women. LOVED the way they worked together and solved the crime. I can just picture Nora's tiny house, and the bookstore. I used to dream of a life like hers. She is incredibly brave and independent.

Cozy cozy cozy

This is perfect for those who love a cozy mystery. Strange things happen in a cozy little town and are solved by budding sleuths, and I enjoyed it immensely. The title probably already deterred anyone searching for a spine tingling, psychological thriller, but if you made it past the title to this review then be assured that although the storyline is attention maintaining, it is not a dark mystery. Real people, real problems with a cozy ending.

Should have known better!

if you're looking for crisply written dialogue, with nail-biting tension -- look somewhere else! This is more of a sisterhood of teabags kind of book. My hope for a better ending pulled me all the way to a disappointing conclusion.

LOVED IT!

Love the characters, love the story(and their stories), the narrator was awesome! I really liked that there were no f-bombs, no sex scenes, just a great story.

What happened?

Going to be totally honest, I have no idea what this book was about. All I know is that it has a character with the same first name as mine. This book started out pretty good at first but then I totally lost interest. It became boring and I just continued to listen without really knowing what was going on. I'm thinking this was one of those books that's better in printed format than audio.

Great characters! Love the town and the story. Sit back and enjoy the small town mystery.

annoying but kept me awake

I needed to listen to something while driving but found this story annoying. I'm disappointed.

rainy day unexpected read

I didn't know what to expect when reading and this was I intriging as a book in-between reads. interesting concept and story line. Not favorite but not a waste of time. Refreshing after so many let down books.
