It’s the perfect scenario for things to finally heat up between the two—or so Ripley keeps telling Meg. Meg’s first conversation with Laurence isn’t what she expected, however. As they attempt to get the reclusive Mr. Miller’s signature for a building initiative, Meg and Laurie discover the man’s body. At least, they think it’s him. No one has seen him for the past decade. When it comes to light that Miller was murdered, the first question on everyone’s minds is how the killer got Miller to open his door when he would barely crack it for grocery deliveries.

Suddenly, Meg doesn’t feel so protected in her sanctuary. If the man who stayed locked in his apartment can be murdered, are any of the Morrisey residents safe? Even though Meg grew up there, she’s about to find that her beloved building holds more secrets than she could’ve imagined.

Murder and Ghosts

This book starts a new series for Eryn Scott in the vein of Only Murders in the Building. Meg Dawson sees ghosts, especially her best friend. When a recluse mystic unexpectedly dies at he Morrisey under strange circumstances and a new ghost appears with no memory, Meg is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery.

In typical Eryn Scott fashion, this is a cute, cozy mystery. I very much enjoyed this book and I look forward to future adventures at the Morrisey.

Natalie Duke does an excellent job with the narration. She is easy to listen to and voices the characters very well. I enjoyed listening to her.

A fun new series!

This was such a fun read! It had elements from the Pebble Cove series that I loved. Eryn Scott has written some great characters in this series. It made me want to move into the Morrisey! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Entertaining and engaging

A Body in #B is an entertaining and light cozy mystery. It caught my interest from the beginning and I stayed entertained to the end.

A lot of fun!

I really like the characters. No one did anything really dumb and the story was a lot of fun. Good narration too.

Must get more….

A very entertaining story with good characters. I am looking forward to the next one.

Enjoyable

Meg is a refreshing lead character. A old hat with her ability to communicate with ghosts so there were not any gimmicky surprises. She is smart, capable with plenty of potential. I will definitely continue with this series to see what awaits Meg and grunge-tastic Ripley in the future.
