WELL. THAT HURT.

I did not see that coming and I was NOT prepared. Lord have mercy. I should have known better too because I was like "wow this is such a sweet book". Then bam. Direct hit to the heart. Tears rolling down my face in public.

I dont want to say too much because I think you should go in blind like I did so here are some tropes instead.

Another amazing book by Marley Valentine. Perfect unrequited love/friends to lovers story. I absolutely loved Gael & Jordan’s story. There were so many highs & so many lows. I throughly enjoyed the journey into their world. I’m sad the book is over. I’m already missing them both! Amazing Narration by Teddy Hamilton, Gomez Pugh & Emma Eilder.

I loved this story. such an emotional roller coaster. my heart broke for everyone involved, even Elena which definitely didnt deserve what she got but sometimes life happens and you no control of who you love.
the accident scene narrated by Teddy was perfection. i felt every bit of emotion and my heart ached with him.

I like that there is a family part of these books, it’s about REAL life.

Amazing and beautiful

I have enjoyed this book in both audio and text form. I have come back to it several times. I love the story and the feelings that just poured out of both men.

neither wanted to hurt anyone, but it happened. and the way the author describes everything is just so beautiful. they love each other so heavily and my God does that come out.

highly recommend either version to people...but the audio book really is amazing. this story prompted me to read everything I could from this author. I know it will do the same for others.

just when you think you know where the main characters are heading, marley makes a turn. it was am absolute gem to listen to. so happy to hear the names of familiar friends.

This had ups and downs and a curveball I didn't see coming, but it was a beautiful story.

Friends to lover. Nice story. Really opens your eyes to home ez it is to stop your own happiness due to fear. Glad it worked out for the MLs
