New beautiful love story

two very different characters and f8nally after being very persistent Grayson get to have the broody Rett to speak with him. a touching romance but steamy relationship but many complications.

Loved this audiobook!

First off, I'm horrible about getting my thoughts across in reviews. That being said, I loved this audiobook! The story is great, the character development is fantastic, and the love is so real. If you love MM romance with slightly broken characters, please give this book a chance!!!
As for the narrators, they are new, and I think they did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Everything

When a book starts in high school and the characters have so many broken pieces you can usually expect surface level plots and emotions. This is not that story. From the writing to the narration the book has everything. This book has everything you’re looking for if you love love

Rhett comes from the system, a child who was abandoned by his parents, a child who was exposed to the cruelty and the ugly side of foster care until his current adoptive family adopt him, which made him grow up mentally very quickly, make him not to trust everyone and refuse any help because he is able to do things on his own and does not want help or "shortcuts".
Grayson comes from a wealthy family, he lacks nothing, he is an amazing player on the high school team where he studies and he maintains his golden boy image to make his grandfather proud and also to inherit the business he built and manage it in the future.
But Grayson is also hiding a secret, he has quite a crush on our grumpy boy and he decides that he is no longer watching from the sidelines and takes the first step in the quest to win his heart.

Why do I recommend?- Because Grumpy x Sunshine is my favorite trope, because it's a relatively light book (even when there were things that weren't light), because the best friends of one of the heroes are just sweet and added to the book, because I fell in love with the heroes, they were really too sweet.
What I didn't like in the book?- I don't like the Miscommunication trope, I'm not a fan of the Gay For You trope, the gaps were a bit clichéd but I realized they were also necessary, it was a bit patterned for me but not terrible.

Bottom line, it's a cute book, yes there were things that bothered me but the pluses outweighed the minuses, I missed mm books so much and overall as a first book by the author I'm trying I actually enjoyed it.
I would love to read more of her books in the future.

Oh, My God!!!! I just have to Holy moly was this book hot 🔥 🥵, man I've never been so turned on about guys getting on. lol 😁 Anyway I just have to say this was a well-written story I was so into it that I could not stop listening, it had a bit of everything, but the thing I loved the most was how Grayson's friend was so supportive of him and I also like how his dad didn't care if he was gay. There was a part where it did break my little heart but I'm so glad everything worked out in the end. One of the best love stories I've had the pleasure of listening to. let's not forget how amazing the narrator's did, good guys.

I’m so glad I gave this audio a try. This is my first book by this author and I loved it. Perfect length I was kept intrigued and enjoyed the entire story! Sweet story of one 2 unlikely teens getting together and finding love!

MM Romance

Hostile by Nicole Dykes is a MM romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Devon Ryder and Bryant Walker.

This is the second book of Nicole's that I have read, and it won't be my last. She does an amazing job pulling me into the story and making me feel what the characters are feeling. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Rhett and Grayson. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Devon and Bryant did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like MM romances.

Loved it!

I love this audio! Great performance by the narrators! Grayson and Rhett were perfect for one another!

So Great!

I absolutely loved everything about this book! The characters were lovable, the spice level was high, the story was touching and even the epilogue was perfect. It actually was the part that made me have happy tears. Highly recommend this one!!!

Cute!

This was a quick, upper YA read that combines one teen who knows what he wants and one who doesn’t. Mildly dramatic, very sweet, not a bad way to spend a shift or a workout.

3.5 stars.
