Lots of adventures

Wonderful story telling with delicious twists and turns and dances of the heart. Loved the narrator as well.

I absolutely love this book! this trilogy is so freaking good. I recommend it. 5 stars 🌟 a must read 📚

Need book 3!!

I read the physical version last year and what better way to gear up for book 3 than to do a re-read!
SO good!! Obviously I already love the story, but the narrator did a great job bringing this to life!

slow burn

Slow burn 🥵

Book 2 in the Freckled Fate series takes us on a Deliciously slow burn journey with Finnleah and Gideon. We get some real and hot romance in book two and it's worth the wait. This series has so much more than just romance though, the character development for Finnleah is excellent, it's wonderful watching her become friends with each of the girls in the 10. She fits in with them perfectly and all the strong female friendship dynamics are such an excellent addition to the book. This is definitely a badass, strong, female positive book and I truly appreciate that this Author does such a great job with that.

Back to the romance for a minute though. The relationship with the general aka Gideon and Finnleah starts to really take off in this book and it's hot 🥵 but equally aggravating as you just want them to get on the same page at the same time. When they finally do, it's certainly worth the wait.

Finnleah accomplishes a lot of growth and a lot of her personal goals in this book and I love that. I can't wait to see where the final book takes her story. I'm also excited to finally really find out more about the mad queen and that part of the story. The ending left me so anxious for book 3.

More new characters

I loved the first book, it was very refreshing with a funny side character. That side character is not in this book, except for an excerpt at the end. We were introduced to some new characters and those ones were taken away. Maybe too much push and pull for me, between characters introduced and then taken away and between the mmc and fmc. Audio for book 3 is not out yet, I am not sure I will continue but I might. Solo narration was very well done.
