I love this series but I am alittle disappointed for book 3 but I still think it is a worthy read.

So I love book 1 and even more I loved book 2 but this book, book 3 in the series was a little disappointing because of I feel the direction that the book is going and how long and drown out the plot is taking is disappointing. It is still a very enjoyable read and even tho I am a little disappointed. It still is not anywhere close to making me feel that I won't finish the series or to quit reading. Even tho I was annoyed quite alot in this book I am hoping the next book will be the final one in the series and that it will be just as good as the second book and even better. So I still believed it is a good enough read to be enjoyable and that the narrators bring the story alive even more make the book worth while.

There are some new relationships that develops with Neve one being with a female rebel. That relationships to me was really annoying to me and I felt made Neve look too weak as a character and not in character for her character. Also this rebel is written in a way that I will never feel empathy for her. To me the writer made her character too difficult to like in my opinion and to feel relatable in any ways. Also a plot hole to me is this rebel wants to go on and on about how Neve has not done enough to help the people of winters realm but yet this same rebel was the reason for Vidor almost dieing and countless other of Neves friends including herself for almost dieing and Neve is supposed to be the one gravaling at the feet of these rebels when they are the unrighteous ones. Also alot of the book was about this and I felt maybe a small portion could have gone to this but not most of the book. Anyways I did not think I could get so annoyed with Neves character but with this rebel and her relationship with her I really was. It was so cringe worthy. I feel the author needs to wrap up the dynamics between the Rebels and Neves friends and allies soon and get on with the story.
