Great book

Love this series. Not really fond of some of the other series because of the language but the one is great!

Great story and terrific performance

Jack Logan series gets better and better. It’s a perfect combination of humor and mystery. Tammy Jo is a great addition to the crew. The characters have so many layers, and in each new book in the series more are revealed.

Another amazing one

I can’t say enough about these books- the stories are so unique as are the characters. Character development and depth are outstanding

Almost a comedy

I get the spooky Halloween theme and the Agatha Christy “all murderers stranded in the same space” idea. But this almost turned into a cartoon version of the crew. However, all is forgiven with the last scene.

Brilliant as always

I had just finished book number 17 and asked for the next one, and my prayers were answered! Thank you Jay. D. Kirk, four these amazing characters and for your brilliant writing! Thank you Angus king for always making them come to life so vividly! Laugh out loud as always, and so creative! Where is the next one? Cheers!

Really enjoyable book.

I love this series. I enjoy the characters and the interaction between them. Lots of funny moments.

My favorite mystery series! And favorite narrator Angus King. Can't get enough of both men.

I Tried to Slow Down....

.....but it's impossible once Angus gets going with DCI Logan & Team! One of the things I love about this series and how Angus portrays these characters is that you always know who you're listening to. I've laughed, cried & laughed some more throughout this series. This was no exception. I was dying during the Ms, Mx, Mucks scene. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. Back when Tammi-Jo was introduced, I wasn't sure about her but she's become a favorite. I love her, I get her [ADHD]. I'm looking forward to her teaming up with Heather - not sure it'll be the same without AK playing her but hopefully it won't feel too different. I will miss her being at Burnett Road Station.

If I ever had a complaint, it would only be that any & every American ever introduced in either DCI Logan's or Bobby Hoon's stories is always from the south [and not very nice). There's more to the U.S. than just the south and southern twangs! 😄

Anyway, I can go on & on about this brilliant duo:
JDK 's stories and the amazing Angus King who brings these characters to life; you'll just have to listen to them for yourself.

A nice Halloween treat

This book is different than the usual DCI Logan book, but I still really enjoyed. Same excellent writing, narration, and banter between characters, but with a fun haunted house spin for the spooky season.

JD Kirk is my fav

I loved that this book is on the lighter side. not so heavy and depressing as some of the others. I love all the characters; Hoon, Berta and Shona along with the regulars.
