I'm glad the man got his own book cause he's deserved one.. I look forward to his time in the jack Logan books so much.. and I look forward to jack in bobs book now.. you got a good thing going with this group of people keep it going and for God sakes Angus King reading for you please.

Seriously, there’s only one Bob Hoon story? C’mon, we need more of this garrulous, foul-mouthed, brilliant crusader. Pretty please.

What a character! At first I didn't like Hoon, but he definitely grew on me. Looking back on the story I felt a bit in the dark as I didn't get good word pictures of the surroundings. So much of the story was spent on foul-mouthed humor that I didn't see much more.

Another great series from JD Kirk! I love Bob Hune!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love all of these Scottish books and, thank you, Angus King for such an amazing performance as always! Thrilling, suspenseful and always a good laugh in there as well! As I always say at the end of a JD Kirk book, keep them coming! Cheers!

Narration outstanding!

If you don’t like F-bbs this book is not for you. BUT, if you do or don’t mind this is well written with great humor and character development and suspense. The narrator is fantastic! I’ll be looking for more of his work

Absolutely the BEST - Hoon is a literary gift!!

Still huge fan of DCI Logan series with JD Kirk and narrated by Angus King on Audible having enjoyed Hoon's politically incorrect vocabulary and actions as supporting role- - BUT NOW as lead... He is a gem to follow along. Story balances the seriousness of the criminality with crime fiction humor at its best. Really enjoyed the journey with Hoon. Can't wait for the next installment in the trilogy! Great Job!!

The story was wrenching. I realize that the vocabulary was character related, but really over the top.

JD Kirk is brilliant!

I listened to this two times in a row. Hoon is fully of surprises and hilarious moments. The mystery is well thought out as well.
