JD Kirk writes characters and stories that have made me laugh and cry. Angus King brings the characters to life with an amazing array of vocal distinctions. I feel like a family member.

Best One Yet!

Love all of the Jack Logan novels but this one tops the rest. Never boring, story keeps moving. Keeps you guessing all the way. The characters are the best part though. Kirk has made these people feel real and I am deeply invested in them!! Bravo!!

Amazing

I am so sad to listen to this last book. I hope this is not the end of DCI Logan. Not sure if I can listen to the Hoon books. For sure not the heather Filsen. Not a fan of the narrator. These were my favorite books. Hard to beat

American Accent

Love this series but come on Angus we don’t sound like that 😂. Enjoyed the story as per usual and even with the bad American accent the narrator is fantastic.

The Gangs in town

Great story all the characters are in place. Feel I know them. Sorry I listened so fast! Ready for more. Once you listen to 1 your hooked! Off to listen to the newest Hoon book.

JD Kirk’s best yet. I couldn’t put it down. I look forward to the next DCI Logan thriller.
