in my opinion in very understandably traumatized MC

I understand the level of trauma that the MC went through in book 1 and that does translate to their actions in book 2 but I really wish he wasn't a complete a hole to some people. and I'm still upset at the MC end his best friend from book 1 didn't get to interact in book 2 I look forward to book three if there is no book three I shall riot

I will absolutely be getting the 3rd book when it comes out. the first book is very good, but this one was even better.

I just love Freddy's determination!!!

The main character just won't give up no matter what life throws at him. Talk about pulling yourself up by the Boot Staps, he came from nothing as a nobody. His mental fortitude is what makes this book so cool for me, unstoppable determination & the will to push forward!

EXCEPTIONAL narrator. Daniel is one of my new favorites! However it seems to be a love it or hate it series for some.

I don't know how to describe it, but I like this series and I can't wait for more of it. The Mc isn't exactly dumb but he's not smart and only barely experienced by the end of the book. A lot of people don't seem to like him but that's only because they probably see their own inexperience in him. So many of the characters feel like real people instead of just characters in a book and the lore and story behind this is so good. But

not a normal feel good litrpg series

a little darker than most litrpgs with vivid fight scenes and a very good voice actor. One of my absolute favorite series and already looking forward to the next book

Pretty damn good

Like all litRPG books I have trouble figuring out if they are good or if they are just my particular flavor of entertainment, but either way I really enjoyed this book and have the 3rd one saved for when it comes out

Psychology in a cultivation world

The first book was good, but this title is better. Unlike many litRPGs and fantasy books I feel like the book attempts to unravel the psychological effects of being in a society based on hierarchical power and being a delver that has to face stressful life and death challenges constantly. The MC and other characters are not some sort of heroes or follow the traditional character arcs. In many cases this world and their actions weigh upon them greatly. This makes many of them defensive, aggressive, and abusive.
Personally the trajectory of the story is going and hope it doesn’t fall into the same pitfalls that other series struggle with.

Great story that made me want more

The trials and tribulations experienced throughout will have you rooting for Freddy to destroy everything!

The narrator is fantastic!

Seriously, if for no other reason, read the series because of the narrator. He does a fantastic job.
