I’m not sure I will continue the series… it’s well written and I liked the world build. The characters have depth and show growth. The MMC is excellent. The problem for me (very minor spoiler) is that he has a special needs son. A large part of the story hinges on the fact he has this kid and how he’s different. For me personally it took away from the romance. It’s very obvious that his son is the most important thing to him and she can’t compete. The kid becomes such a huge part of the plot. Idunno like I said it’s a personal preference. If you have kids you will probably fine with it. I will say the sexual tension was absolutely excellent! Also to be fair there isn’t that much actual page time with the kid. I am interested in what happens with the rest of the story…. So maybe I will try the next book. While I might not recommend it first I will say it’s worth listening to.

I was looking for a spicy story to get me out of my reading slump and stumbled across this book! I wasn’t expecting to be drawn in completely. The plot, the characters and the spice….just read it!!

The narrators did an amazing job with the Dual POV! I want to give a specific shout out to Will Thorne for capturing Poet, the MMC, perfectly. This character is extremely nuanced and needed just the right tone and inflection.

I love this story! It’s so well written. Natalia is an exceptional writer and this story has me in a chokehold. The banter and prose is superb. It’s sensual and steamy with a fantastic plot.
