This audiobook is narrated by Josephine Haskell & Mike Ryan . It is a dark romance/horror retelling of the Grinch. Think about the nice cute Christmas cartoon classic that we all know. This is not it! This story is twisted inside out, turned upside down and backward. It is horror but with spice. The characters are definitely changed up a bit. The Grinch is called "Grouch" and there is a Max, but she's a woman not a dog. I thought the narrators did a fantastic job with this story. They showed great emotion and depth voicing the characters. It's definitely something I may listen to again next Halloween season.

Mean One by AB. Cynthe is an erotic horror retelling of the Grinch that I listened to on audio narrated by Josephine Haskell and Mike Ryan.

This is the second book of AB's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see how it was all going to play out. This is definitely one of the stories I don't want to give any spoilers away.

I originally read this book when it was first released, and I knew I had to grab a copy of it on audio. Mike and Josephine did a great job brining the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

If you are looking for an erotic horror that look no further. It is a perfect read for the Christmas season.

The Grinch unhinged! this was a great retelling. the audio added to the story and made it that much more. If you are looking for a grinch horror look no further.

Loved this smutty Grinch retelling. The pacing is good, the story kept me hooked, and ending shocked me. I wish it was a bit longer. The narrators did a great job.

It's taken time for me to decide how I want to review this book. It's the first book I've read/listened to written by AB Cynthe. I've wavered on my thoughts of this being a retelling of the Grinch. The author definitely took artistic license in (re)creating (??) the story. It's definitely steamy, dark and gruesome. The twist at the end was completely unexpected!

The narrators were new to me and excellent. Loved their voices. They gave emotional performances that brought the story to life.
