He needs a wife to silence his father. She needs a break from the spotlight.
Millie Greer thought she was destined for Broadway, until a cruel director crushed her dreams over a few extra pounds. Now, hiding from the stage that once defined her life, she’s found solace behind the microphone, recording for an erotic stories app.
Ezra Miller is a big-hearted middle school teacher, worn down by his father’s constant pressure and his own string of romantic misfortunes. When he’s met with an unexpected family member, Ezra’s only option is to find a “wife”—and fast. Who better to play the role than a trained actress?
What begins as a convenient arrangement quickly spirals as the line between make-believe and reality blurs. When hearts get tangled, Ezra and Millie must decide if their fake relationship is for the show—or if love might be the real deal after all.
Packed with laugh-out-loud humor, witty banter, and a whole lot of spice, For the Show is a heartwarming story about finding family, self-love, and realizing that sometimes, the best roles are the ones we never expected to play.
For the Show is the second book in the All for Love interconnected standalone series but can be listened to on its own.

Van Brunt has done it again! I’m obsessed with these characters and their stories—the wit, the banter, the sexual tension, the spice? Chef’s kiss. 🤌🏼
I listened to the audiobook for this one, and let me tell you… the narration was so sexy. The voices brought Ezra and Millie to life in the best way.
What I love most is how raw and relatable these characters are. The story doesn’t shy away from mental health, inclusivity, or hard conversations—and that emotional depth makes the romance even more powerful.
Millie and Ezra are absolute goals. I love them so much. 💘
Already counting down the days until book three. 🙌🏼
Obsessed!

Ezra and Millie have a complicated history, and now find themselves in an even more complicated situation where Ezra needs Millie to pretend to be his wife while he visits his sorry excuse for a father so he can meet Kane, the fifteen-year-old brother he just found out he has.
I love how in tune Ezra is with his feelings and mental health, and how he helped Millie with her self-esteem issues due to the changes her body has gone through since the last time they saw each other. I also love how, the moment Ezra saw his father was going to make Kane's life a living hell due to his səxual orientation, he stood up for him and stepped up to do everything in his power to make sure Kane had a loving and welcoming family.
Once again, no words can express how much I love the amount of emotional awareness and support that's in this book!! The author killed it with how real the relationships felt. Not only between the MCs but also with the rest of the friends and family. Also, if you don't think it is possible for an emotional and healing book to have spicy spice, here comes Katie saying "hold my beer".
Quote: “With my hands behind my head, I enjoy the view. The bubbles have mostly dissolved, but a few cling to her hips and aṣs for dear life. Damn, I now identify as soap bubbles.”
“Sometimes tragedy leads us to people and places we never imagined.”
