This book was wild from page one. It’s short, fast-paced, and absolutely unhinged in the best way possible. The chemistry between the characters? Explosive. Every single chapter delivers on the 🌶️seriously, this one doesn’t let up for a second.

Lucy Rivers and Aaron Shedlock were phenomenal in the narration, bringing the tension and darkness to life perfectly. But fair warning, check your trigger warnings before diving in, because WOAH. This story pushes boundaries and doesn’t hold back.

If you love your dark romance spicy, intense, and unapologetically bold, this one’s worth a listen.

Die With Me is book #4 (novella) in the Angels of Désirer series. The teaser at the end of book #3 (Play With Me) gave us a hint that this would be Luca's story. It certainly wasn't what I was expecting, but dang if I didn't enjoy it! This story opens up HOT and doesn't let up until it ends. Misty is after revenge from Luca. He's trying to catch her before she does. This is a VERY dark cat and mouse game-ish listen with a laundry list of trigger warnings, tons of smex, and an ending that will BLOW. YOUR. MIND. Start this one with an open mind, because if you think you know what's going to happen, it definitely won't! 😲🖤💀

The duet narration was fantastic! Aaron Shedlock and Lucy Rivers gave us award-worthy performances as Luca and Misty. Between the psychosis, the spinning of the wheel of emotions, and all the smexy things you can imagine AND THEN SOME...these two made this super short audio feel like a full-length listen. Absolutely loved their voicing. 5/5 haunting stars! 🌟

Lucy Rivers and Aaron Sherlock were outstanding as Misty and Luca! They delivered all the gore and darkness oozing from these two and they brought it with how unhinged they were. Fantastic performances!

I went into this book eyes wide open and still had many holy sh!t moments. Luca & Misty were both completely unhinged and I was here for every minute of it. Raw and dark, gritty and messy, obsessed and crazy. They take dark romance and chew it up and spit it out. Deliciously dirty, yes ma'am!

I have devoured the Angels of Désirer series like it was my last meal and I don't regret it one bit. I had to purchase all 4 books for my shelves to make sure I can revisit them time and time again.

D.L. Darby has a fan for life in me. She gives us the good good every single time and I am here for the ride.

Die With Me by D.L. Darby is a short, dark, and twisted novella in the Angels of Désirer series and wow, this one takes things to a whole new level.

We finally get Luca and Misty’s story after that little glimpse of them in book three, and let me tell you… I was not prepared. This novella dives straight into the chaos… it’s raw, emotional, and packed with tension that blurs the line between love, pain, and revenge.

Misty is out to avenge her brother’s death, and she’s convinced Luca is responsible. But when these two collide, their chemistry is undeniable… dark, messy, and addictive. It’s one of those stories where you find yourself going, “What did I just read?” in the best possible way. The ending? Absolutely wild and then you get this perfect, emotional little reprieve that made me breathe again.

The audiobook is phenomenal. Lucy Rivers brings Misty to life with her chaotic energy, vulnerability, and vengeance, she owns this role. And Aaron Shedlock as Luca? Absolute perfection. He delivers that broody, dangerous charm effortlessly, and together, they’re magnetic.

This novella may be short, but it packs one heck of a punch. If you like your romance dark, emotional, and just a little bit unhinged… you’re in for a ride.

This book was narrated by the queen of dark romance Lucy Rivers alongside the smooth styling of Aiden snow who’s no stranger to dark romance narration.
Together they highlight the darker side of these two characters Luca and Misty.. two very unhinged depraved characters who aren’t afraid of a little pain. A little blood… and a whole lot of pleasure.

Though I enjoy this one, it is much darker and gritty than the others.
This was a goodbye of sorts to these two characters…although I had wanted Luca story to be one of perhaps redemption. I wasn’t expecting this..trust me it was a shocking end.
D.L. Darby has totally turn me upside down with this twisted dark story, and showcase her skills as an author who can write any kind of story, which has left me reeling and wondering..WTAF did I just listen to!
