This was the perfect wrap up to the storyline and boy was it HOT AND FILTHY. I’ve never listened to a hotter book. Joe Arden read this SO. FREAKING. GOOD. 5/5 spice. Loved every second. I just wish there was an epilogue where we got a glimpse into their future with their kids, even just for a second!
I’m so sad it’s over. Ruby, you’ve created a masterpiece with this series!!

Ruby Darling’s writing is honestly one of my favorite things about this series — the way she describes scenes, emotions, and tension is just so good. Her word choice pulls you in and keeps you there.
If you’re wondering about the balance: this one is definitely about 40% plot / 60% spice — which I personally loved. But if you lean more toward heavy plot, just keep that in mind going in.
Also, the narrators? Absolutely nailed it. They brought the characters to life in a way that made it hard to pause.

What really got me was the ending — everyone gets closure and a sense of a future, and it wraps up so cleanly. It felt like a true happy ending… which honestly makes me a little sad because it feels like it’s really over (unless we get more… 👀).
Overall, such a satisfying listen. If you love immersive writing, strong narration, and a spicy romance with a solid ending, this one is definitely worth it.
