Honoring excellence in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment, the Audie Awards are held annually by the Audio Publishers Association (APA), which today announced its 2024 finalists. As usual, the nominations have us alternately nodding in agreement and adding way too many new listens to our TBLT list.
Among the highlights: three nominations for beloved performer in the Best Narrator - Nonfiction category, and three for Ann Patchett's , whose narrator Meryl Streep also performed Middle Grade-nominated by Brian Selznick. We are also thrilled to share that nine of the finalists are Audible Originals or Audible Studios productions, including (Audio Drama), (Spanish Language), (Faith-Based Fiction), (Original Work), (Romance), (Fiction), (UK-Produced Audiobook), (Literary Fiction & Classics), and (Literary Fiction & Classics).
The full list of finalists follows. Winners will be announced at the Audie Awards Gala at The Avalon in Los Angeles on March 4, 2024. Congratulations to all the nominees!
