The Weirdies: The Weirdest One of All

At last, we have nearly reached the end of our grim tale. When the Handsome Lawyer proposes (gross, love), Barnacle, Melancholy, and Garlic do not react well, sparking a cross-country adventure to bring the man Miss Emily loves back home. Unfortunately, everywhere the triplets go, trouble follows, and in this case, so do a bunch of wild characters, making it hard to stay under the radar. All the while Mr. Weirdie and the Enchantress are holding Miss Emily captive, forcing her to teach them how to be good people. Will anyone get the happy ending they deserve? Or will all of these awful people end up where they started?

The story, the weird plot, the weird children, the narration, the breaking of the fourth wall, the whole series was brilliant!!!!

Funny

I'm 41 and enjoyed this series very much. Lots of pop culture references and I found myself giggling throughout.

The story was original and very entertaining and of course, it was red beautifully.

I love that the story could appeal to adults and children as well. I found myself as the adult really enjoying it too. I wouldn’t mind if there was another book to follow it up. I like the characters. They were very Addams family feel.

This was a surprise! I loved this story. Really funny. And Helena Bonham Carter is awesome!!! Loved it!

Pretty Fun

The final chapter in this entertaining series was overall great. There was some very "weird" anti-marriage bias which seemed incongruous to the rest of book. Otherwise it made me laugh.
