At last, we have nearly reached the end of our grim tale. When the Handsome Lawyer proposes (gross, love), Barnacle, Melancholy, and Garlic do not react well, sparking a cross-country adventure to bring the man Miss Emily loves back home. The story, the weird plot, the weird children, the narration, the breaking of the fourth wall, the whole series was brilliant!!!!

Funny

I'm 41 and enjoyed this series very much. Lots of pop culture references and I found myself giggling throughout.

The story was original and very entertaining and of course, it was red beautifully.

I love that the story could appeal to adults and children as well. I found myself as the adult really enjoying it too. I wouldn’t mind if there was another book to follow it up. I like the characters. They were very Addams family feel.

Brilliantly fun!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this series. I stumbled upon it by accident and it hit all the right spots. If you love Roald Dhal, you will enjoy this tremendously.
