Smart and funny

This series never disappoints. They are written and delightfully funny. Helena Bonham Carter’s narration was flawless.

Maybe This Is a Bit Too Weird? Nope, It's Perfect!

We're big fans of The Weirdies series over here, and were surprised when we started the audiobook and there was a different narrator. We love Kate Winslet and I couldn't place the new voice until I went back and read the new narrator is none other than Helena Bonham Carter!!! The story explained the narrator change in such a clever way that totally fit in with the series' vibe. The plot of this installment is hilarious and ridiculous (roller boogie skate-off!) while maintaining its dark, yet kid appropriate tone.

What a Gas, Start to Finish!

I’m really picky about narrators and don’t care for most of them which makes it a total joy to say I loved the woman who did this.

She was so inventive and talented that I stopped midway to see who it was and was happy to see Helena Bonham Carter’s name. Splendid job, girl!

The story is such a quirky, funny and bizarre creation that I enjoyed it throughout. Dandy job!

Funny finale

I was bummed Kate Winslet didn’t get to narrate this final novella, but HBC gives a great performance and I appreciate the jokes about the narrator change. The Weirdies have the makings for a humorous mini series…here’s hoping!

Triplets of Fun

HBC did an excellent job voicing this quirky story (reminded me of Wes Anderson's movies - strange and whimsical and odd and charming).

Great Series

Books 1 and 2 were my favorite. I also thought that Kate Winslett delivered a more dynamic performance!! She impressed me! Helena Bonham Carter’s performance in book 3 was surprisingly more flat and monotoned, but not bad.

Kate Did It Better

With all due respect to Helena Bonham Carter, Kate Winslet did a much better job with the voice acting for each character and I really wish she had narrated this third book. The character's lost some of their individuality and charm in this one, and almost feel "flat." The quality of the narration is good, the difference in approach just leaves something to be desired. Still a hilarious contribution to the series.

Soooo funny🤣🤣🤣

I LOVED A LOT of the book but I extremely loved the backstory of the narrator and the part about miss Emily with the roller skating battle. I laughed sooooooo hard I to pause the book so I could breathe!🤣🤣

It was slightly concerning… but it is the most interesting amazing thing ever. Anyways I am slightly concerned about the author but it like is amazing like character development is amazingly and I never got too old for it
