I listened to part I and was floored by the story and performances. Part II did not disappoint, I wasn't ready to be crying at the end. I knew there was no HEA but still. Mia, Joe, and Corvin were phenomenal.

Painter’s Obsession Volume II by Luna K. Wicked is one of those books that leaves you sitting in silence afterward, wondering what you just experienced.

This is not a romance. This is an erotic horror. Psychological, disturbing, deeply unsettling and beautifully written. A direct continuation of Volume I, it picks up Ren and Byron’s story and drags you even deeper into their shared unraveling. If the first book messed you up, prepare yourself because this one finishes the job.

The audiobook performances took this story to another level entirely. Joe Arden delivers a portrayal of Ren that is genuinely horrifying. A man so far gone it made me cringe, shudder, and sit in absolute shock. Corvin King captures Byron’s internal struggle in a way that feels so painfully real, especially the damage left by a father who taught him his feelings were wrong his entire life. And while her role is smaller, Mia Moreno pours every ounce of emotion into Gabriella and is unforgettable in every scene.

This story captivated me. It disturbed me. It has left me unsettled and haunted in the best possible way. Luna K. Wicked has written something bold, uncomfortable, and impossible to shake. I won’t be over this one anytime soon, and honestly, I don’t think I’m even supposed to be.

Luna K. Wicked takes you on another dark and twisted ride, picking up soon after where the first volume left off, and the madness and depravity continue for the artist, the psychopathic Ren, and his muse, Byron. In this volume, you learn what happened to Ren at the end of the first book, where he wound up and with whom, and the same for Gabriela and Byron. We also learn what some do for love and what an obsession can lead to. I am being vague and dancing around things because it is best to go in with an open mind, just know your triggers before diving in. Were Ren and Byron meant to be together, and while the cunning and manipulative Ren pulled strings, Byron was no real puppet, so maybe it was destiny and inevitable. Both had sad backstories and were dealt a crap hand growing up, and both deserved so much more. Yeah, Luna K. Wicked can make you feel for a madman or two, and I think she gave them the best ending ever, though some may even say tragic, but I say fitting and a forever love. Like the first book, there is never a dull moment, and the writing, plot and world building are fantastic. Luna K. Wicked, thank you for another mind-blow of a story and the wild and wicked ride.

🎧📚🎧 Joe Arden, Corvin King, and Mia Moreno continue to deliver exceptional performances with their portrayal of these characters. Arden kills it as Ren, and King as Byron, both delivering a bone-chilling performance in the roles. Mia Moreno was just as amazing as Gabby, delivering a moving and heartfelt performance. You could not ask for a better cast to bring these characters and their story to life, and their enthralling performance rivets you to the story.

What an absolutely unhinged, painful, and wild ride with this one & after the ending of Vol. I, I could not wait to listen to this. Check your TW - this is NOT a romance, it is an erotic horror and is very dark! That being said, I devoured this audiobook so fast and couldn’t stop listening. Those flashbacks were painful and raw, but they are so important to give us insight to Ren’s past.

The audiobook is performed in duet by Corvin King & Joe Arden, also featuring Mia Moreno - all 3 of these narrators were amazing in how they brought this story to life! They were perfect at performing all of the emotion that this story has.

I read the book before the audio was released. I loved Volume 1 audio so I had to get volume 2 and it didn't disappoint. Joe and Corvin really bring Ren and Byron to life. Filled with so much raw emotion. It leaves you wanting more. I cried reading it but listening to it I completely lost it. Definitely needs Awards for this work!!

A must listen!!
