Love Jones: a collection of genre-bending erotica, my sixty-ninth read from author C. Dennis Moore. A 94-page short read, a collection of shorts that is so different from his typical writing yet has that distinctive Moore flavor. I always look forward to the next work from him. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. Matt Williams’s narration adds to the enjoyment of the read. I’m currently on a mission to read everything from a couple of my favorite authors, C. This past April I read Love Jones and enjoyed it, recently I received an offer of a review copy of the audiobook from the author and chose to accept. This is one of those offers I’m glad I accepted; hearing Love Jones read by Matt Williams was even more enjoyable than when I read it. I’m including my original review below as it still is applicable. However, Matt does an excellent job of bringing each of these five erotic tales to life.

I need to provide a bit of disclaimer up front, erotic fiction isn’t my preferred genre, and to be honest I had never considered erotic horror fiction as a thing prior to reading Love Jones, but no I can confidently say yes erotic horror fiction is a thing. So, you might be wondering why if it isn’t my preferred genre why I read this. I recently read a book on writing that suggested reading across all genres to expand your “horizons” or develop new ideas. Love Jones is a collection of 5 short stories all with an erotic theme, some that include horror elements, and each is entertaining not to mention well written. If you are a C. Dennis More fan, or a fan of Erotic stories, you might give this collection a look. You never know, like me you may find it to be very entertaining.
