Publisher's summary

Untangle your emotions and expectations about money so that you can live your best financial life.

Without fear and shame holding you back, it’s more possible to move past all those social barriers to actualizing whatever your money aspirations are, whether that’s getting a raise, getting out of debt, having honest conversations about money with your family, raising your kids to be savers, or wherever your values lead you. Dr. Faith, author of the best-selling Unf*ck Your Brain and Unf*ck Your Intimacy, tackles one of the toughest emotional topics there is with her trademark mix of neuroscience, gentle encouragement, and no-nonsense language. This book isn’t about getting rich quick (or necessarily at all) - it’s about figuring out your own economic values and baggage, and learning to be the person in the world you know you have it in you to be.

Love her books

I resonate with much of what you say; I love your candid approach to reading your book and your eye-opening realness and great detailed
explanations to make it easier to understand. I have listened to almost every book on audible from you, and I will continue to listen to any book you put out.

Best money book I have EVER read!

I have read dozens of money books over the years and still find myself struggling. This is the first book where I can relate, feel seen, and most importantly, not judged. For years, I have looked unflinching at my actions, but never really put together that they might be coming out of coping skills from various traumas. Like so many people around me, I just judged myself to be a fuck up who "can't get their act together". What I loved about this book (like many of Dr. Faith's other books), is that she acknowledges that yes, bad decisions that I make are mine to own, but that there might be more to it to work with. If you have found yourself reading other books about money and finance and feeling you either just don't get it, it that the author doesn't get YOU, please give this one a try.

Presentation is always perfect!

It’s hard for me to stay focused and I can always listen to this author straight through! And easily absorb the information. And that’s the best part. I can immediately benefit from the information she is sharing and apply it to my life where needed.

every book in the series is worth it

there isn't a single book in this series I wouldn't recommend and I plan on getting the hard copies to go through the workbooks as well. This one in particular would be useful for 90% of people to listen to because we are in a capitalist hellscape as she says and everybody has wounds around money.

Best Finance book I've ever read

I'd recommend this book to anyone. seriously. it's great and useful. also funny. This is not a book on investment. But it will help you recognize your psychology of money and make better choices because of it.

Not a lot of good information.

I had high hopes, specifically in terms of overcoming past financial trauma. Half the book is a Reddit tier anti capitalism tirade, the rest is gig work, rudimentary budgeting, debt repayment, and little gems like “Ask For More Money When Negotiating Salary.”
