I loved this story

I really appreciate the authors good storytelling, the only thing I can’t stand is the male narrator. I’m not sure what it is about male narrator’s that I can’t stand to listen to. But, because I enjoyed the story so much I overlooked it. The female narrator was perfect though. The author did a wonderful job of telling the story and keeping me hooked.

Well, it’s a cliffhanger and...

Sadly it’s definitely not the Broken Love Series and Angel is no Kieran Masters that’s for sure. Sigh! I loved Bunny Warren, Shannon Gunn is okay but certainly not my favorite narrator. His voice could be sexy if it wasn’t so theatrical that it became a little humorous at times.

Anyway- on to the book.

Uhm. It was just okay for me. Somehow I got a little confused, it could be because I lost interest. It didn’t have as much grit or shock as I was expecting. The whole push and pull seriously got on my nerves. While I do enjoy angst, it was annoying. And it was a little disturbing to have flashbacks of a 16 year old teenager lusting after a 10 year old child. I’m glad there was restraint on the guys part but I think the age gap thing should’ve involved someone barely legal in lieu of someone just getting out of a booster seat! #YUCK! The end was does spark my curiosity but not enough to get the second book- well, unless the Kindle price goes down. Overall, it was just alright for me.

Stellar like always

No complaints here. The story line hooked me from the beginning. Both narrators did am amazing job.

Thought it was better

I read this book a couple of years ago and fell in love with the characters. Now listen to it, mian is a bit childish and annoying. Anna should know better than to get involved into situations like she found herself in.

Male narrator

Unfortunately the Male narrator was so over the top it made it difficult to listen too.

What can I say about B.B. Reid’s The Bandit, let me start off by saying that I was at a loss for words as to how absolutely phenomenal this book is.

If you love getting sucked into a dark and twisted tale about love, hate and revenge then look no further The Bandit is the perfect read for you. Mian and Angel’s story will leave you gripping the edge of your seat and screaming while you listen to this audiobook. The amount of tension between these characters is so hot! Mian is a very strong female lead that is feisty and brilliant and Angel is compelling and dangerous, I seriously wanted to hate him but I couldn’t instead I fell for him. Let me also mention that I totally love Z and Lucas I mean they were the perfect mix is this powerful story. The narrators did an excellent job at bringing these characters to life, they delivered the perfect amount of emotion to these characters.

I don’t want to give anything away so what I’m trying to say is this truly is of B.B. Reid’s best work yet and it is a MUST Listen for everyone! I cannot wait for book two in the series!

A dark & wicked listen!

I loved bb Reid’s series that started with Fear Me. This first book of a duet is similar as far as violence, underworld bad guys and dominant sexual situations where consent is dubious.
The main two characters, Angel and Mian have known each other from childhood and that is where the angst and push and pull between them begins. While the narration was excellent, I agree w/other reviewers that the male narrator got way too theatrical at times (especially during sex and violent acts) BUT he has an extremely sexy voice overall so that made it much easier too overlook 😉
I am intrigued enough to download the follow up book because that cliffhanger.....Whoah! This book would have rated much higher for me if the angst was toned down a bit and the heroine better developed. There were times when she was a strong woman and others I wanted to smack her (during a period when she seemed not to even think about her child especially highlighted with her internal monologue)
With all that the story still intrigued me enough with great twists, smexy yumminess and the need to see how it all plays out. It’s def worth credit, especially if you liked Fear Me, you’ll like this!

Taboo, chaos and revenge

This is another one of those times where I kick myself for buying a book and keeping it on my shelf for over a year. This story is taboo and forbidden and filled with vengeance. but, sorry peeps. Ain’t no HEA...yet.

This was my first time listening to Bunny Warren and Shannon Gunn and was so compelled by the emotion in their voices. They conveyed Mian and Angel’s thoughts so well. Had a wonderful experience reading along with this audiobook!

Cannot get enough!

This was my first B.B. Reid story and I am utterly blown away. It's dark, sultry and so so delicious. Yes it ends on a cliffhanger and I absolutely cannot wait to read more.

I've always loved the trope of enemies to lovers and I know Angel and Mian have a very long way to go but I am utter in love with their story.

I was kind of expecting more from the narration at the start but then the story grabbed me enough that I loved the narration too. The narrators really did a great job with bringing the characters to life and I'm really looking forward to the next book.

Also, MORE ANGEL MORE ANGEL!!!!

Delicious Torture

This book took you through all the feels you enjoy in a book. A twisted tale of two who are thrown into each other's lives due to family circumstances. One hell of a rollercoaster ride with back stabbing betrayal, anger, sadness, sympathy, love in the front seats. Can't wait to dive into the second book of the series. #lovemesomeangel
