Publisher's summary

Can you keep a secret?

I grew up sick.⁣ Let me clarify: I grew up believing that real love stories include a martyr or demand great sacrifice to be worthy.⁣ Because of that, I believed it, because I made myself believe it, and I bred the most masochistic of romantic hearts, which resulted in my illness.⁣ When I lived this story, my own twisted fairy tale, it was unbeknownst to me at the time because I was young and naïve. I gave into temptation and fed the beating beast, which grew thirstier with every slash, every strike, every blow.⁣

Triple Falls wasn’t at all what it seemed, nor were the men that swept me under their wing. But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.⁣ Secrets that cost us everything to keep.⁣ That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.⁣ Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence, due to my illness, and all were punished.

The Ravenhood trilogy is a gritty, modern-day take on Robin Hood filled with suspense, thrills, and all the feels.

Unique, twisty, and insanely sexy

Mind. Blown. Kate Stewart brought a totally different kind of read with Flock and I loved it! This review is going to be short and vague because this is a book you want to go into blind.

Cecelia meets Sean at her first day at work. She’s working at a place her father owns to earn her spot there. She and her father are estranged, but she’s living with him and working for him for reasons bigger than herself. She’s expecting to just survive this year of working for her dad, but with Sean and his group of friends, everything changes.

I love books that make me think, make me feel, and keep me guessing. This one did all three. I’m so glad I had no idea what this was about. I’m glad I went in blind and was surprised with each twist and turn. No one crafts a story quite like Kate Stewart, and I was blown away by this one. It was on my mind for days. I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened, what’s happening, and what will happen next. I have so many theories!

This story is unique, it’s twisty, and it’s insanely sexy. After finishing book one, all I have to say is to buckle up, ya’ll. You’re in for a ride! I’m so glad these books are releasing so close together because you’re not going to want to wait long for the next one! If you’re looking for an epic romantic suspense, pick up Flock!

Joe and Maxine at their very best!

Storywise it felt slow and it was hard for me to connect with the characters. The motivation and action of what keeps the pace moving felt a bit disjointed at times. Cecilia as a character has very little for me to hold on to and want to keep going. I think that if I were just reading I might have not finished, but by listening to the audio I felt Joe and Maxine were giving me an audio play of epic proportions. They feed off of each other magnificently and like the talented performers that they are they knew how to play to their strengths and keep up the interest where otherwise the action would have stalled. Maxine is a complete and utter rock star carrying much of the narrative but giving this 19yr old girl some grit and nuances that made her more interesting. Cecilia is on this journey to self discovery and Maxine gave her the voice of strength that I needed to hear so she didn't seem whiney or a complete hot mess. Joe Arden, I can only imagine, was having a ball playing a wide variety of male characters and giving each one depth, personality and interesting quirks. His character voice choices were spot on and he played each one with conviction and outstanding dominance. I am a huge fan of these narrators and having them perform duet style is a real treat. If the story fell a bit short, it was their narration what made me want to continue and finish. Bravo!

So much I have to know!

This story takes the reader on a whirlwind of emotions. It's thrilling, exhilarating, sexy, and secretive. Every character was personalized wonderfully by Kate Stewart and I couldn't have chosen a better narrator set to bring it to life. I went into this book blind with an audiobook Facebook group, not even reading the blurb. Joe and Maxine are two of my top favorite narrators so I knew this would be good. No regrets on getting this book. I'm a sucker for cliffhangers, because it shows there are more books to be had in the series.
Cecilia is fresh out of high school, ready to begin her college experience and looking at the whole world before her yet to be explored. Her estranged father has other plans for her and she must make due for the summer if she is wanting to gain her inheritance. Practically shut out from the world she sot to explore, the tiny town she ends up in isn't so bad when she finds Sean, and her take on the world begins to shift.
I will not give anymore away as to what all this trilogy entails, but it's a huge must read!
I'm supposed to hold off on listening to go along with the group, but I'm needing a sneak peek at book two!
On the the next!

Welcome to the Ravenhood club 5⭐️ read

Kate Stewart has become one of my favorite authors because of this series. I first heard about this book back in April of this year on tic tok. I was intrigued so I started it right way and let me tell you, I finished the whole series in a couple days. Day and night I was consumed by this world. My dream and my thoughts were all about this series. This series was hands down my favorite read of this year and many years to come. I kid you not, I have read and reread this story more than I can count. Now I have bought it in audio, I couldn’t be happier with my decision. It didn’t not disappoint! It was everything I imagined it and more! I’m so not done with this world and I hope Kate can go back and give us more too. If you are thinking of grabbing this books, please do! You won’t be disappointed. Also join Kate Facebook recovery group so you won’t feel alone through the journey of listening to this!

Warning… do not start close to bedtime or you will not be able to sleep!!
I have just stayed up all night long, unable to put this incredible story down. I don’t want to give anything away, it’s really best to go in blind. Just know it’s worth every penny or credit spent to listen.
And the Narrators were fantastic, the way they blended together to make this story come out smoothly is just mind blowing. Bravo!

Hello Crazy Emotions

I had heard some many good things about this book from an audiobook group. I was not disappointed when I finally decided to listen to 'Flock'. And I agreed whole heartedly with everyone who said this book was phenomenal!

It takes you on a wild rollercoaster right of twists and turn and crazy emotions. It takes you on a psychological adventure. It made me think, had me guessing at every turn, and made me feel all the feels.

Unlike some people, I didn't have to wait for the next part of the story. Buckle up and enjoy the ride that Kate Stewart takes you on with this one.

Audio Reviews: Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell were perfect for this audio. That's all... no one could have done the audio for this book the way Joe and Maxine did. Pure Perfection from these two.

Wow! Just Wow

Can’t wait to start the second book. I can only imagine what’s in store. I have so many questions. The dual narration on this book really brings it to life. And I can’t say enough about the two narrators. This isn’t an audio book. It is a movie where the scenes play out in your mind fueled by their telling of the story.

A MUST READ!!

WOW. WOW. WOW.

I don't even think I can write a normal review for this one. Because I’m simply at a loss for words. I went into this book completely blind. And I’m so glad that I did. This is my second book by this author and it reminded me why I love her writing. It’s absolutely impeccable. Everything about this book was amazing. The relationship between Cecelia, Sean and Dominic was great and they had such a great dynamic. The emotions and feels this book gave me are just too much to describe. I also had the pleasure of listening to this on audio, Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden did such a great job with this book. I don't want to, but I’ll be waiting very impatiently for the audio for book two.

This is a must read/listen!!
