If you are OBSESSED with cats then this is the book for you! This book covers everything you need to know about how to care and love for your cat.
It even talks about how to understand them and what to do if they are acting off.
I enjoyed the part when it talked about cats roles in the past and what they were used for. It was very interesting how scared they were.

Such mysterious creatures

If you are a cat enthusiast or just enjoy animals in general, this is a great book for you. I have all sorts of animals (cats, dogs, birds, horses, goats, pigs) and most animals are pretty easy to figure out but cats just have their own attitude and are very independent so it's nice to have a book explain some of their quirkiness. I enjoyed learning about feline history as understanding their evolution was quite amazing. I don't know if I've ever really learned about the evolution of an animal so learning about their journey was very educational. I have had cats my whole life and since I moved, we now only have 4 barn cats and each one of them has their own personality. We have had to learn to be more vigilant about looking at them in whole when we see them. We only see them at night and usually less than an hour so being in tune with them is crucial.

The author talks about mental health with cats which is something i had never really thought about but understanding what could impact their mental health was very insightful and I feel like makes me more aware of what to look for. A cat's behavior can be quite puzzling but I feel like after this book, I don't feel as lost and can be more proactive with my cats.

They usually seem so self-sufficient and not the most cuddle friendly in my opinion, until I read this book!
