Heartbreaking and heartwarming
Another great listen by this author, who’s becoming a favorite of mine. The characters are resilient in the face of adversity. I enjoyed the honesty in this book and how love was found with the understanding there’s still a healing process to work through. Narrator continues to improve with each book!

Well…
The FMC was insufferable. She jumped to more conclusions than frogs in rain in Texas. She was petulant and mean for all her intelligence and of course the MMC was like, I’m so horrible when he was morally correct. The author tried to fix it later but the way FMC responded to his reasoning was not anger toward the person wronging her but still him for her own ego. It was tiring. The writer is still a good one and I will continue the series but this one was… mid.
