Slow burn, but decent

Not nearly as much smut as I was afraid of. Overall, interesting, if slow. Its definitely a harem book, but theres a lot of fade to black/boot scenes. The "video game world" premise is done in an interesting way, and overall I like it

excellent start

Good epic scale story and world building. MMC is a bit a blank slate/amnesia trope but other chars are entertaining. Has a slowly starting harem not to much cringe fades to black for the most part. Anyone into more serious litrpgs especially litrpgs written with monster race MCs definitely give this a try.

Awesome performance

Can’t go wrong with Jessica Threet and Daniel Wisniewski! Great performance. The story developed slow but was captivating the longer you listened. It’s very hard to understand the main characters morals though. They tow the line from being evil and cruel to kinda and almost heroically benevolent. Very confusing but it’s a good book to throw on if you work a mundane job. Over all 4starts. Great narrators! Okay story.

Anything narrated by Jessica threet is a must

I enjoyed the overall story build up the characters were fun and the story itself did a good job of not oversharing and ruining the story it left alot of thing shrouded in mystery which leaves me wanting to listen to the second book right away.

loved this book and the sequel as well. The narration was fantastic as well! Can't wait for many more like these two!

really good story, little slow at parts but enjoyable all the way and usually i don't like when authors give multiple points of views of the characters like a chapter completely dedicated to what a character is doing thar it's not the MC but it worked perfectly here and the narrators were just perfect
