loved this - would’ve preferred a duet but the story was a perfect mix of sweet and smutty. loved how it sets up other characters for subsequent books in this series. i’m already invested to see where this series goes.

firstly, i will never look at a cucumber the same way again. 😳

this book was hella steamy, dear lord rix and tristian were scorching. yeah in the beginning they hated each other, but it didn’t stop the sexual tension that was ever present and when they finally gave in, it was downright electric. aside from them being compatible in the bedroom, there was a deeper emotional connection they shared. they were exactly what the other needed, and the way that tristian opened up to rix and let her see his vulnerable side was immense, as was the trust they had in one another. they were amazing together and i couldn’t get enough of them.

if you hate me was a delicious forbidden, hate to love and hockey romance. i loved both the girl gang and the bro gang so much. i am itching for more of this series, especially the next book. i. am. ravenous.

LOVED this one. Reminded me of Pucked. Super hot chemistry and smoking hot spicy scenes that will melt your earbuds. Filled with hilarious moments I love from this author. The main characters have depth and are very real which is nice. Narration was excellent. I LOVE the male narrator. He may give Zach Webber a run for his money.

Captivating characters

I like the depth that these characters have, and that there is an actual plot. It surprised me more than I thought it would and surpassed what I thought it would be. Love the narrators.

Had me hooked right from the start! Character development that hits your heart and you just want more. Highly recommend.

A bit to rough for me, but I still enjoyed it.

There are pepole that enjoy certain kinks, not really for me, but the overall story was nice.

Helena - this book is 🔥🔥🔥HOT🔥🔥🔥!!! I love Bea’s and Tristan’s story so much.
If you’re going to listen to this book with others around - make sure you have some headphones on.
The story is so so good!!! The characters are amazing.
I love the throwbacks.
The narrators - DAMMMMN!!!! Connor Crais can read the DMV handbook to me and have my undivided attention. CJ’s voice is so sweet, heartfelt, and made me laugh out loud when she read and punctuated certain parts.

I WILL be listening to this story again - immediately.

Yes Toronto!

As a Toronto native this book gave me so much more than I expected. I went in blind with 100% faith in Helena Hunting. I am in love with the hometown references that made this book so much more special to me. Props to Connor and CJ Bloom for pronouncing all the Canadian-isms like a native (aside from toque but that is a tricky one).
Tristan was beyond and I mean that in the best way, you almost lost me at the cucumber but I could never have a DNF from Helena so I kept going and I am so glad I did.
I cannot wait for this series to unfold. I know Helena was nervous tot release this new world but I can say with 100% confidence there won’t be a reader out there who doesn’t fall in love with the Toronto Terror and all of these characters.

Two of my favorite voice actors and they MADE this one so so good!! CJ and Connor were a great combo and did a phenomenal job as Rix & Tristan!

I absolutely ADORED this one!

If you follow my reviews then you know I love when a book gives me all the emotions, and this one did that for sure! I laughed (like cackle laughed lol!), I cried, I swooned, sweated (like holy wow Tristan!), got angry, literally all the emotions and I loved every second of it!

Tristan and Rix are a bit of a rollercoaster, as one second they hate each other, the next the want each other, but it is well worth all the ups and down. Rix takes zero mess from anyone, and I love her so much! I enjoyed her going from hot mess express to having her life in order & turning things around. Tristan's growth throughout was also great, although he was frustrating as all heck sometimes! He definitely had some demons he was working with...

Loved the introduction into this series, and all the side characters were so fun and I cannot wait to read their stories as they release too!

Hot Hockey Romance

This audiobook is on fire 🔥 Tristan and Bea are my new favorite book couple. I could not wait for this release and it was worth the wait! Connor Crais and CJ Bloom are so phenomenal as usual! If you enjoy a spicy, fun hockey romance you will love this audiobook!
