It’s a crime not to love this

Brynne writes such an amazing gripping storyline with amazing character development. Once I started I didn’t want to stop and the story flowed with such ease and intrigue. Boz/Brian/Brax is such a great character. When Brynne writes her MMC’s she is able to create a powerful, protective, swoon worth male. The angst and passionate build up between Brax and Landon was perfect. Brax slowly let his control fade, unable to resist his feelings for Landon. Even with so many characters in never felt lost with what was going on or who was dealing with what. I was anxious up to the couple hours of this book even though I knew it was an HEA. The connection to the characters in her other series The Killers was phenomenal but you aren’t lost on who they are, you just get a more defined feeling of family and friends within this high intensity job. The dual narration was perfect. Jason and Rose do such an amazing job voicing the opposite gender. Their emotions really grab you as you listen and bring you in the story. I can’t wait for more of this series!

Looking for the next book!

Mafia books aren't usually my thing but this one was a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to the next book. I loved reading and listening to this one, Disappointed that it doesn't look like the 2nd book is on audible yet. Looks like it will be reading only on the next one.

Loved it

This is a book I will listen to again. A strong male character is something I look for in a book. I like how his emotions are expressed in the dialogue. The female character finds her strength as the story line plays out. The subject matter is on the dark said at times but for the most part that isn’t described in detail except at the first of the book. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Great Read & Well Developed

This was my first agent book by this author, and I’m very glad I spent the credit. It was a very well developed story FULL of action! Narrators only added to to make this a 5+ read.

A shining star for Miss Asher

First audiobook I've heard from this author and after this one it won't be the last. Very well written and thought up. Fell in love with these two characters. Landon was a strong female lead and Braxton was a hero in every sense of the word. Well done.

Marriage of Convenience with "my wife" vibes

What a journey, please buckle up and prepare for the ride. This was my first Brynne book and I can confidently say I'm hooked! Landyn is destined to an arranged marriage with the son of a cartel boss. She's never met him, and the only reason this wedding is happening is because her father owed a debt...so needless to say she isn't looking forward to the blissful matrimony.

Boz...aka Bryan...aka Brax has a secret. He's deep, deep undercover in the cartel. He will do whatever it takes to find out what happened to his brother...and if that means marrying someone to prove his loyalty and safe her from monsters disguised as men..so be it.

The lies, the deception, the violence, the passion...my gosh it's jam packed! Just when you think things are going to be okay, Brynne throws you for a loop.

Rose and Jason did a phenomenal job, I thought both were able to shine in this dual performance.

On the edge!!

Man, this had me on the edge of my seat! Just knowing from the blurb that Landyn was going to be married off into a sadistic cartel family had my imagination going. It's that feeling of something bad is going to happen at any moment that really had me on edge. To say the least, this was a pretty exciting read.

I don't like to go too dark with my reads and I thought this was dark enough that it kept you antsy, but also light enough to save my sanity. I loved how the author handled all the situations.

I think the hero really shined in this book. He had that dark side that woman are drawn too, but he's also a protector by nature. It's a very appealing trait in a man. Landyn was a great heroine. I really liked her and respected her. She could have been a spoiled brat so I'm glad we got to see her treat the situation with maturity.

There were a few side characters that I fell for and really hope they will be a big part in this new series. This makes me excited to see where the author will go from here.

The narrators did a fantastic job bringing this book to life! This was an awesome listen!

A must read!!

One of the best action packed, books with so much love. Amazing story line. Can’t wait to read more from author!!
