Touching story & well written, as expected
Lindsay Sands has been one of my favorite authors for many years. It is well written and like her others, this book is no exception. One would think she lived back in Clarissa's time then popped back to this century to write the book. Well done Lynsay, well done indeed.

Love is Blind
Lindsay Sands is an excellent, experienced, regency romance author. Justine Eyre has been a long time favorite narrator, she breathes life into every character making them seem so realistic! This is a somewhat funny story when you think about a scarred war hero who believes women think him a monster and a young lady who has already lived through one scandal, only to begin another with her behavior as she goes about London without having her glasses. Everyone believes she is a clumsy air head of a girl. It really is an uplifting romance with a mystery thrown in to keep you in suspense. 😍

Imo, not one of LS best. Too much drama! WHY the heroine put up with her stepmother as long as she did was bewildering to me.

This was a delightful story and I like the humor and the suspense.
The narrator was excellent in depicting each character and she has a pleasant voice to listen too also.
