Good book
The storyline was a bit predictable, but the characters were well done and each had to overcome their own perceptions of themselves and each other. I liked the banter between them. I’d recommend this book!

I absolutely loved it!
This is a well-done version of beauty and the beast. I listened every second i could to this wonderful story. I adored the characters, and the storyline was unique... which made it even better! I was hooked from the first... in fact I wanted more when it came to its ending... thank you for the enjoyment!

Listened for the narrator
I am a huge Mary Jane Wells fan and listened for the narration. This is my first Hannah Howell experience. I enjoyed the writing style, liked the story, and felt connected to the characters. The dialog was witty, it made me laugh several times.

Unenjoyable
It was tedious to make it through this book. Mary Jane Wells is an amazing narrator, but even she couldn’t save this one. The story was tiring and the multiple attempted rapes in the plot were not what I was looking for in a lighthearted romance. The main characters were annoyingly hesitant about expressing their feelings even though it was obvious to everyone around them. I didn’t realize that this book was written years ago, because of the release date of the audio book. That may explain why it feels so outdated.
