Publisher's summary

(Minor spoiler and warning at the bottom of the blurb. Please read all the way through.)

Sameerixis, or Sam for those who actually know him, isn’t what you’d call normal.

He’s a door-to-door salesman, of sorts. One that peddles wares, wishes, and whims to anyone willing to pay his prices.

Prices that usually involve a few years of your life, maybe a handful of days, or a single night of pleasure that’ll cost a few hours.

He’s an incubus that solves problems. Mental, emotional, spiritual, material, and anything and everything in between. Sam can provide an answer and resolution.

A one-man shop and service provider.

Or he was. When he had work available to him.

Unfortunately, he’s been unable to work for quite a while, due to the simple fact that he’s been imprisoned against his will by an old business partner.

Except something’s changed.

A portal, a way back to the planes, has opened with his name on it. On the other side isn’t what he wished for nor what he feared.

Sam’s made the choice to go back and start up his business again. From the ground up. In just a moment he’ll make that leap over and into another plane.

Little does he know that with that first step he’ll move straight from the known, to the unknown, then to the inadvisable.

Warning: This novel explores dark subjects, and what people will give up of themselves, and each other, to get what they want. The main character is written as a demon from another plane in a tough situation, and will not make choices that line up with societal and cultural norms.

It contains adult themes and moral ambiguities.

As with my previous work, explicit scenes are found within. It has violence and a harem relationship.

I was not ready for how amazing it is

Wow just wow if you can tolerate epic sex scenes and a world of absolute glory then listen. If you enjoy any of the other books from this author you will enjoy this. I was not ready and i put off this book because i wasint sure an incubus would be something i would enjoy but to be blunt. This is now one of my favorite series of all time.

Am interesting spin on the harem genre

I enjoyed this audiobook. The narrator did hell of a job with all the different voices. Jess was my personal favorite, voice and character-wise. It did seem like an excessive amount of characters to me personally but it was still pretty easy to keep track of who was who.

The story starts off with a basic premise that grows into a much more complicated and surprising one. I can say this is definitely not my favorite of his works, that would be the Fostering Faust series, but it was still written with the deep level of detail you expect from this author who is probably the best in the genre in my opinion.

Both the Author and Narrator are phenomenal

Been following both the author and narrator for over a year now. Every book I listen to with either of their names attached turns out great in my opinion. Can’t wait for the next book!

great book

good story great characters the voice work was good but the main characters voice seemed too old and the succubus and some of the other girls voices just we not as sexy or feminine as I thought they should be.

great story

another great Randi Darren series. lots of action, nice pace, and of course steamy scenes. I personally love trying to make the connections between his series and enjoy the cameos from the other servers.

Darren/Parsneau knock it out of the park again!

This is an excellent book, full of sexy monster girls and takes place in the same world as William D Arand's Swing Shift but set maybe 25 yrs before that story. (Sam runs into a young Gus, his sis and his Mom, and is terrified of her!) the story overall it is good in the fact that it does a lot of world-building and lays a lot of groundwork for this "Plane" (Server) as told through the eyes of a Planar Lord. If you've read The Other Life trilogy by Arand you'll see the connections, if not you'll still enjoy it but seriously, your missing out on alot. Sam is growing, I don't like the character but he's becoming someone I might like. This is book 1 of the trilogy so lots and lots of groundwork and still a fantastic story.
