Low EQ in men?

He says "he" often when he describes examples of poor emotional intelligence. I wonder if men have low emotional intelligence by default or if this book is focused on men... hmmmm 🤔

Not what I expected

I didn’t really learn more about emotional intelligence here. I think I was looking for Daniel Goleman (PhD) not Brandon. This book is basically just a long explanation of what emotional intelligence is and what it might look like for those who have low EI. But no practical tips on how to improve EI or handling others who have low EI other than end the relationship.

There is more to EQ

it's a bit of a failure to have a book on EQ and not mention autism anywhere in the book. Not everything is psychopathy

Love this book for my team!

I started reading this book and loved it most out of the other books I’ve read on EI. I liked it so much, I made it a required reading for my leadership team. I will be purchasing a copy for them because the knowledge in this book is life changing.

Life changing

Started a business and this book has helped tremendously in my leadership role as well as what to look for in hiring. A book to be passed on to my children as well. This book should be implemented in schools.

Emotional Intelligence

I really gained a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence and area I can improve. It was easy to follow and interesting read. I liked how they provided clear examples and action steps to address specific areas of EI and to explain the content. Overall a great intro and way to get familiar with EI and how important it is for us to develop it to enhance all areas of our life, not just individually but in relationships at work etc.
