Theresa Williams is an author unlike any other. What sets her apart are the experiences she endured during her childhood and adolescence. She had difficult conflicts with her father, which caused her to leave home prematurely, and additional problems in her subsequent romantic relationships. Because of everything she went through firsthand, Theresa became interested in reading and studying psychology. In 1996, she joined the faculty at Harvard where she came into contact with numerous students, professors, and experts in the field of psychology, particularly in anxiety and stress disorders, cognitive-behavioral therapy, impulsive-compulsive disorders therapy, intimate relationships, and many other subjects that allowed her to gain a 360-degree knowledge of the human body and mind. Thanks to the skills developed during these formative years, Theresa was able to reconcile with her father and solve the many emotional blocks she had in relating with others, thus establishing more satisfying relationships in the workplace and in her private life. Over the course of her career, Theresa has helped thousands of people, gaining more and more experience in the fields of couples therapy, family therapy, anxiety and stress disorders, mood disorders, and emotion management. Theresa is currently married and after more than 20 years of professional experience, she has decided to share her knowledge through her writing.
