Got control over my mood!

I love this book! And I am trying to actively apply many of the techniques and methods mentioned in it to improving my own life, and those of others around me. I think one of the most important take-aways from this book for myself is to ease up on my expectations of people. I take comfort in the fact that, at the very least, I have started my own internal healing process by finding ways and means to deal with the pain and the hurt!

Put me in better states of mind

In this book the author awakens the mind and the heart. For the "knowing" He relates tales of his own childhood that at least reflect my own and offer both comfort and confirmation. We are not alone in how we feel.

So helpful!! Because I applied the recommendations here as much as I can, I notice some significant results in my sleep. I used to woke up groggy without goals for the day. After the introduction of this book, I can’t remember when was the last time I felt this joyful!

It's more worthwhile than i thought it would be.

Negative emotions can have a great effect in our other aspects of our lives like mentally, socially, and even physically. Thus, this is not something we should be taking for granted. The moral lessons I gained from this audio piece are more worthwhile than I thought it would be.

incredible

Jonathan Parker’s recent audio book’s an incredible read for anyone looking for ways to learn about emotional control and apply it to everyday life. Being able to gain the skills at preventing arguments and conflicts before they get out of hand is one of my goals and probably one of my New Year’s resolution. Wish me luck!

Concise and practical

I was skeptical about a one-hour book that promised to help you have complete control of your emotions and turn your life around, but this book delivered. I listened to it twice in a row! The tips and tricks are practical and I look forward to putting them to use!

Best mental health audible

Probably the best mental health self-help book that I have ever listened, and I am a mental health professional. I only wish that we had more psychiatrists like Jonathan S. Parker, as too many are jerks.

To a positive mindset.

You familiar with loathing? With anger? With sneering? I’m, slowly learning to avoid the circumstances that heightens my emotions and put it in danger. The sound techniques are assisting me to react properly to negativity. Cheers to a positive mindset!

Shaping me to a better me

It made me reflect on my past decisions and behaviors.. The author even took the time to render the information according to how it will suit his readers’ needs and capacity. It has been a reminder for me that I shouldn’t let my emotions eat me and get the worst out of me.
