Publisher's summary

The ruin of obsession, the madness of love, and the peril of duty.

Remington Maddox broke my heart.

Simon Perilini bruised my body.

And Pretty Nick Bruin tried his hardest to steal my soul.

As we struggle to make amends, the four of us must face the real fights occurring in Forsyth: the battle against the legacies of our fathers, the conflict for a kingdom that's stronger than its king, and the wars we wage within ourselves.

My dukes have become capable warriors, but Forsyth needs more than their fists. They need a leader. Who will rise to the challenge?

They plucked me from captivity, giving me a home and purpose, and now it's my turn to fight for them. The fury of Forsyth will burn hot enough to melt my cage.

And my dukes will forge a crown from it.

Dukes of Peril is book six in the contemporary dark-romance Royals of Forsyth U series by best-selling authors Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue.

Great Series!

The beginning of each group of this series is always a struggle. The rape and nastiness of these men are always hard to get past. The men always end up treating the women like queens and it makes this series great! Can't wait for the princes books!

Fantastic Series

I absolutely love this series. Rating it 4/5 because I love the Lords series a little more. Butttt I love the darker aspects within this series. Disclaimer first time using audible so I’m sure it’s just standard, but I couldn’t get over the dialogue. 😆 If you have multiple characters and have voices for them please use them when talking to each other. When the guys are attempting to use a “female voice” for Vinny😂😂 bro just use the girl who’s narrating for Vinny’s POV.

Amazing!

This entire series is exceptional. The way characters are so thought out and interwoven. This book was one of my favorites thus far - tied up a lot of loose ends and had more spice than the previous 2 of the dukes books. I’m so excited to start on the princes next! 5/5 stars all the way around!

Amazingly Filthy

I absolutely love this series, but you’re a pearl clutching purest, these books are not for you. Every book is off the charts filthy and spicy, but still have a great story plot and characters.

LOVE THIS SERIES!

I’m not one to say much in a review, and this review will be no different. So, with that said all I can say is HELL YEAH! Loved this book. The writing, perplexed weaving of the story line, especially setting up the next book. The performances were great, although I wish Troy would do ALL the male performances. His voice alone can make me . . ., well you know! Can’t wait for the next book. Bravo Angel and Samantha!

A Fantastic Finale to the Duke's Story

5/5 ⭐
5/5 🌶️
5/5 🎧

It's official, the Dukes are my favorite and have officially taken top spot over the Lords. The character development with these four was outstanding, I love them all so much. I can't get over how much they grew together over the course of these three books, especially this last one. Dukes of Peril really fit too as there was a lot of action and suspense in this one as everything came to a head. Such a fantastic read.

And again, the audio is fantastic and definitely worth a download. I think I loved Lula even more during this one and I'm officially giving it five full headphones. Troy was amazing, his voices are just to unalive for and I already can't wait to listen again.

We get a little more of Sy and Nick's family in this one which was really fun. I love their dads and mom so much. Sarah and Vinny's scene was perfect and had me grinning from ear to ear. In a world full of terrible dads, it's nice to see that Nick and Sy's are really so great too.

The action and spice felt pretty non stop in this one. If someone wasn't fighting they were, erm, that other f-ing and it was all so, so good. The group scenes were great, but I think my favorite was actually Sy and Vinny's solo scene, it was just really sweet and perfect. And then the unaliving was wild, the end of this one was jam packed with it and so fun for my revenge loving soul.

The epilogue was great as we get a setup for the Queens and a probable look into the Prince's Princess. I'm really excited to get to know her better and watch her's, Lavinia's and Story's friendship and reign grow.

I love this book

I am a big fan of Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue books. Sometimes I don't have time to read. I love that I get to listen to it anywhere I go. Lula Larkin and Troy Duran do an amazing job has the narrators. Troy doing the voices of the 3 Dukes would make any women melt, specially Sy's character 🥵.

This one did drag more than I was expecting, there were a few areas where I zoned out and wanted to fast forward but didn’t cause I knew I’d miss something.
But this was a good read regardless, I’m definitely looking forward to reading the Princes now 😁
Narrators did a great job with this one as well ❤️

Fantastic Series!!

I am so sad the Dukes portion is over! I loved the super twists and mysteries that happened in the Dukes books. The extreme growth that these men went through and Lavinia finding the love and support she has been owed. I absolutely adored the topic around Simon and his certain attribute bc it wasn’t seen as a blessing but a curse that he had to struggle with and you never really think about that side of it. I know it’s an odd topic to think of as endearing that it was given light to but it really brought out Simons character ad well. In reality the 3 MMC’s had staggering obstacles that really defined their position. I just really loved The Dukes and I look forward to seeing what the Princes have to offer. The level of intensity of these men seems to keep increasing so I can only imagine what is to come. Troy and Lula were phenomenal narrating this. Lula blew me away with the emotion she put into each character and how she was able to give each character their own voice, truly very impressive. Troy is just consistently phenomenal and I love all the work he does and how he also gives each character s distinct voice.
