Umm, I need more…

The book is over and I’m a little heartbroken. I was completely immersed in this world and I want more! I want to see how things progress with all of them! From the beginning I was caught hook, line, and sinker. The pacing was perfect and I really cared about what happened to the characters. I would have liked a little more depth from the side characters but I imagine that we’ll get more in the following books. Regardless that did not detract from the story at all. This story and the narration was top notch and I am here for anything this author has written. Incidentally I will also be looking for any other books narrated by Orcus Auditory because….dayum. His voice is sexy af.

Awesome Ghost Story!

I stumbled across this series while looking for something new and took a chance on this. So GLAD I did!! GHOST is bad ass! Love the story of the Halloween boys and all the mystery and twists and turns! Cannot wait for Judas's story! 5 stars!

My Thoughts on Ghost

This was such an unexpectedly good book. And I only say unexpectedly because this was a new to me author and narrator plus the storyline while intriguing enough to give a shot because it was a Halloween story, was one I only stumbled across in my search for something Halloween themed. But I’m so happy I found it. This story was a bit on the longer side of what I normally listen to, but it was also really well developed. There was a lot to the story and the different characters, and I really enjoyed all the layers. I also loved the narrator. He had a lot of characters to give voice to and did a fantastic job. Once this one was over, I was not only fully satisfied with what I’d listened to but was excited for future stories. I will definitely be continuing with this series.

Get ready for an epic tale

Ohhh wow is this a tale that draws you in immediately. Kat weaves an intricate story of Blythe, introducing you to new characters with ease and slowly conjuring a fascinating world. I couldn’t turn it off! Orcus Auditory has a magical way with voices that brought everything Kat created to life in such a perfect way. I love how nuanced Orcus made each character’s voice. Very excited for the next book!

I chose to reread this via audio and was very pleased with the performance! The narrator did a fantastic job giving life to Ghost and the other male characters. My only criticism is that I wish a woman voiced Blythe’s POV. Overall I loved it and highly recommend this series!!!

So I enjoyed this one,I love that it was set in this Halloween town…that makes it right up my alley lol. I liked that it was duel POV. I do however wish it had been a true reverse harem with Wolf and Onyx and there pov too. Narration wise…omg Ghost’s growl 🔥🔥🔥 usually I don’t like books with just a male or female narrator but this one with just a male narrator turned out really good. I’m not sure I actually like Jude tho…he doesn’t have a very likable personality when he shows up. Raven is a fantastic familiar.

Definitely my kind of story and characters..

From the narrator to the story, I loved every moment. I used to go for the usual romance stories, but in the past few years I've realized that I have a thing for those from the supernatural realm. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series and do hope that you'll bring back Orcus Auditory as well. His portrayal of Ghost was utterly perfect.

Perfection all around! I loved the narrator. He is surprisingly good at a feminine voice.
My one very very very minor complaint is how Wolfgang’s name was pronounced wolf-gong.

Orcus + The Halloween Boys Series = 🤩

Orcus' voice is like warm honey and smooth dark shadows on an autumn day. When I found out he narrated one of my favorite series -- The Halloween Boys -- well, I reinstated my audible account. 👀 Now his voice will forever be Ames Cove. I wish there was a different voice for Blythe's chapters, but like... I am by no means disappointed by this reading of the book or the story therein. A million points out of 10, three billion stars, will listen again. Now I'm off to download Dragon! ❤️ God help us all when the third book comes out and the growling starts. Y'all aren't ready. 🫠🥵
