colorless style

She reads in a matter of fact way, so imagine the teacher (Ben Stein) frm Ferris Bueller reading a steamy sex scene & that's how she narrates. 1 point in her favor, she does try 2 change up her voice 4 the various characters.

Love that it kept me guessing

I really enjoyed this book. It’s an easy listen but not to easy to know who done it.

Great start to a series. where's book two???

I found the story interesting and the character development good. I did not much care for the narrator. Although she did a good job with Holly, the main character voice, I didn't like when she did the other voices. There wasn't much to distinguish different females and her portrayal of the main male character was just irritating. I know he is tough and gruff but he was totally unlikeable based on the voice alone. Again, his voice was too similar to all the male voices minus the ones with accents.

Laughed out loud funny!

I love the humor of the writing, it really did it for me. the narator also did an amazing job. I enjoyed it.

An old story line made new. I like that this null is not well loved and a fighter.

That she doesn’t have powers to fight back. She only think about other people and not herself

Don't waste the money or time

For once I can't blame Hollie Jackson for the monotone narration. Male interest is a macho idiot so he's a perfect match for the lame heroine.
