Definitely have to read!!

Lionel is the worst!!! I feel like he is only going to get worse as the series goes on. I loved getting a glimpse into Darius and Lance's relationship and can't wait to see how it affects the rest of the books!

An amazing book

love the prequel story that this story tells which gives us a greater appreciation for our Dragon and Starboy 😍😍

Not necessarily a "must"

First of all, Letting a narrator with a voice too deep to read a 14's point of view, it was a ｗ𝓮ἱ𝚛ď choice, I won't ட𝖏ǝ.
I recommend that if you want to try this novella then you should 𝑔𝖏Ⅴǝ 𝚞𝗉 on the audio version because it really ന𝞉ⅾē നē 𝚛О𝞘𝞘 ന𝒚 ē𝒚ēຮ
because it's 𝚛ÍⅾÍ𝗖𝖚𝞘О𝖚ຮ, no 14 years old boy sounds like that.
All in all, It was fine nothing more than that, it was a fine start for the series, but in general I'm not a fan of novelas... I'll start the first one soon.

Great Prequel

While you eventually learn about all the information presented in the book in the actual series, it is still a great way to learn about Orion and Darius. It goes more into depth of the night they got their bond and the night Lance’s sister died.

love it

I absolutely love the narration for this book Jake did an amazing job bringing this story to life for us. I love how he was able to show Orion the way he was before the rest of the series how we know him to be. This book gives such an amazing insight into the events before the ZA world we know and love❤️❤️

Eating it up!

I will devour anything the sisters put out with enthusiasm. This was no different. Solaria is such an incredible place.

Can’t get enough

I absolutely loved this!!! Hearing Darius and Lance when they still had hope and were not wrapped up in the things that come later in the series is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Love the authors love the narrators, I am 100% a twisted sisters groupie at this point.

Do not read this until end of book 3

I started zodiac academy with this book and I wish I would have read the main series in publication order rather than chronological order. This book reveals more than you probably want to know before you have even met our characters. This is better as a book to enhance what you already have learned in the series. So I suggest reading after book 3.

Novella set Before the events of Zodiac Academy

I read this novella, which is set before the events of Zodiac Academy a few years ago, but Jake Bordeaux's narration has wonderfully enhanced the experience of this story.

This novella is certainly worth listening to as part of your Zodiac experience. Jake has really captured the voice and emotion of the characters.

The novella follows the point of views of Darius and Lance.

My heart broke with Orion’s

This was a great story into knowing the background of why Orion and Darius are the way they are and how they are connected: I’m glad I read it after the first one though so I had some understanding of the ins and outs of Solaria. My heart broke knowing in Orion’s voice that his fate had been sealed.
