Who knew this gem would be so good!

Would you consider the audio edition of Sterling to be better than the print version?

I much prefer audio when the narration is good. Many books have been ruined by a bad narrator but not this one......Nicole Poole is now on my approved list.

Have you listened to any of Nicole Poole’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first time I have heard Nicole Poole but I will listen to others down the road....first I have this series to listen to.....

Any additional comments?

I read a review on Sterling and the person said just for this book, it was worth the price....so I got it and it has been sitting in my collection while I finished up some other really good series and yesterday, I started this one.....I listen to books while I am working and it helps get through the work....so a good book is a must....this is a good book and when I get done with this one? On to book 2!

Narrator ruined it

Half the time I couldn’t hear the narrator even though my volume was quite high. She wasn’t consistent with sound level even within one sentence. When a character was yelling she would do the oddest thing and essentially whisper. And oh my goodness, when a character actually did whisper, the narrator whispered so quietly I had to replay and turn it up to even hear what was said. Just awful. Now I cant enjoy the series.

Sterling Silver

This is the first time I've read Dannika Dark- It's not my typical genre and it was fantastic! Definitely will be seeking out book 2!

Zoe Merrick is brutally attacked and dies...or at least she thinks she's dead - she doesn't know what she is really. She meets some really handsome men helping her on her journey to discover her NEW self and her new energy powers..."?"

Almost sold into a type of human trafficking and stuck into a realm that has different laws, she feels helpless to escape, but is restricted and the power and danger threatens her life and the life of the men that tries to save her.

Surprisingly Good

I had not heard of this author before but decided to take a chance. I really am enjoying the story of Zoe. She has spunk and does not take crap from anyone. She always seems to get herself in trouble. She meets up with Adam and there is chemistry there but life seems to get in the way. He entire life is about to change and she is struggling to keep up. This book as lots of events to the storyline and will not disappoint. I know others have complained about the narrator but I think she does a great job bringing the characters to life. Zoe is almost 30 and I think she is not suppose to sound like a little girl.

Favorite Series by this author

this book is phenomenal! it may start a bit slow, but it has so many riveting twists and turns. it navigates so well and explains itself. it leaves the reader needing more. The description of the book is only a fraction of what the listener has the pleasure the enjoy. THE NARRATOR: Let me preface by saying that I have listened to over 100 audio books. this narrator is by far the most talented. You truly feel the character changes by voice alone. no two characters sound the same. Meaning, just because they're men, doesn't mean she only has one male voice she uses. She is amazing with accents, inflection and tone. So well written and well read.

rereading again

I enjoyed this series so much I'm starting from the beginning again. Knowing where it's going only helps me enjoy the way the author builds this world and the relationships between the characters even more.

disjointed

this book was oddly pieced together. I am not sure how this qualifies as a romantic book. there was very little that connected the characters in a romantic way. it was interesting.

magi

this was not what i expected. it was better. i thought the author did a great job bringing you into the story.
the narrator was a good choice for delivery. will be interesting to watch silver grow into her self and hopefully bring the breed to a new era of thinking and change some of their archaic ways
