I love this book!

As someone who experienced childhood trauma in several ways, I truly appreciate how B. E. Townsend approaches the topic of healing yourself. I've always believed we have the power to overcome past traumas and can reprogram our minds to believe in a positive, possible future for ourselves. I use several of the methods shared here, including meditation, exercise and therapy. The combination of these powerful tools has helped me recognize that my childhood trauma was not my fault, and that I am a strong, confident person because I seek peace and love in my life. I am committed to changing my neuropathways that made me feel unloved and unworthy. I practice daily gratitude as well, and it works wonders. Thank you, B. E. Townsend for this helpful, wonderful book that is needed by so many!!!

A LITTLE GEM OF A BOOK!

Some may scratch their heads and wonder, "Really? I can find healing from what I went through in less than 45 minutes?"
The short answer is "Yes." The longer answer is, "Yes. But you'll have to truly want it and be willing to work at it, applying the techniques shared in this book."
The mental dynamics involved with understanding, believing, and achieving the best about yourself and your life are covered methodically and succinctly.
Making that turnaround from doubting you even deserve the best to discovering the reasons "why" and "how" to believing the best about yourself is, as the old saying goes, pushing the snowball off the top of the mountain. While much of the basics may already be known to you, forgiveness, meditation, exercise, and writing letters detailing your trauma but not mailing them, the straightforward way these steps are presented and implemented is refreshing.
Who hasn't experienced some form or degree of childhood trauma? Whether it was bullying, abusive parents, or injuries, they all left their marks emotionally and psychologically and must be dealt with to live the the full life you deserve.
Give this little gem a listen, and you'll be well on your way!
